Guest Posted June 1, 2002 Report Posted June 1, 2002 I know he is a "company man" and he may "Kayfabe" us but Jim Ross should Write a book. The man has been in the business for (I think) 3 Decades so he has to have some good stories and opinions. Like I said, He is a "Company Man" so he probably wont go all out about Vince and stuff like "Triple H Politics" and we all know he is a Austin, Kiss Ass so he won't Expose too much dirt on him. Other wise, I would think his book would be a great read. Even more then Hogan, Lawler, etc. Don't get me started on other books like Chyna, Rock and Hardyz book coming out soon.
Guest Posted June 1, 2002 Report Posted June 1, 2002 Any kind of a book co-authored by Chris Jericho and HHH. Now THAT would be an interesting read.
Guest Mole Posted June 2, 2002 Report Posted June 2, 2002 Actually Fear, JR said in his Ross Report that he his book will be out in 2004. I would like to read a book by SCSA, HBK, Jericho, Benoit, and Brooklyn Brawler(to see what it is like to be a jobber). Most of all, I'd LOVE to read a book that Vince wrote. I am sure he has a lot to say about wrestling.
Guest Nevermortal Posted June 2, 2002 Report Posted June 2, 2002 I'd like to read a Paul Heyman book.
Guest Posted June 2, 2002 Report Posted June 2, 2002 A Paul Heyman book would be AWESOME..And on that note, so would a Jim Cornette...
Guest Posted June 2, 2002 Report Posted June 2, 2002 Ric Flair. I think everyone that writes a book shouldn't release it until they aren't in the wrestling business anymore. They are obviously going to hold stuff back in their books if they are released while working for the WWF.
Guest Posted June 2, 2002 Report Posted June 2, 2002 "Macho Man" Randy Savage... I've always been a huge fan of Mach, and i think he'd know more about the industry then pretty much anyone, besides maybe Vince McMahon & Ric Flair... Other than that...UNDERTAKER BOOK!!! This has been, and still is, the Taker Mark
Guest What?! Posted June 2, 2002 Report Posted June 2, 2002 I'd like a Vince McMahon book. This is the most powerful man in wrestling. Also Hogan, Flair and Austin. I'd also like a better Rock book. Honestly, his biography was just made to make money. Twenty years from now, he should take his time to make one.
Guest EI Cubano Posted June 2, 2002 Report Posted June 2, 2002 Mike Sanders.... I think Flair and Hogan should both have really good books if they can manage to put their lives to words in an entertaining and readable fashion and if Hogan doesn't use his trademark hyperbole and over-exaggerate every achievment in his entire career. If I had to name one that I would really like to see however (sue me, he's not currently in WWE), that would Roddy Piper. I agree that a Jim Cornette book would probably be pretty damn good too.
Guest godthedog Posted June 2, 2002 Report Posted June 2, 2002 Bret Hart, if his mind could take it bret's been working on his autobiography for a while now, actually. i myself prefer long shoot interviews to books. most wrestlers seem to be good storytellers, but none of them except foley can really write. i would KILL to see shoot interviews for steve austin (after his career's over), ric flair and vince mcmahon.
Guest Mole Posted June 2, 2002 Report Posted June 2, 2002 "i myself prefer long shoot interviews to books. most wrestlers seem to be good storytellers, but none of them except foley can really write. i would KILL to see shoot interviews for steve austin (after his career's over), ric flair and vince mcmahon." Actually, Dynamite Kid's book was REALLY good, and he shot all over the place.
Guest bcu1979 Posted June 2, 2002 Report Posted June 2, 2002 There are several guys who should write books. The problem is that they would probably be a lot more entertaining if they were written after they were no longer part of the WWE. There's only so much that a Heyman or a Jericho could get away with in a WWE endorsed book. J.R.'s should be interesting because he'll have free reign to go after Bischoff, Russo, etc. But I don't think his WWE stories would be anything more than puff pieces. I'd actually find a Triple H book an interesting to read to see how he portrays his rise to the top and his current role in the WWE. He has the power to get away with trashing a lot of people so it would be interesting to see what he would do with that power.
Guest Posted June 2, 2002 Report Posted June 2, 2002 Vince McMahon definetly. But other than that, I would like to see a Bob Holly book. He's been in the WWF (Yeah thats right, I refuse to acknowledge the change) as long as the Undertaker and has beaten most of the top guys when they were just young pups. Granted he probably cant put together a sentence longer than a quick promo, but I would still like to hear some of his stories.
Guest papacita Posted June 2, 2002 Report Posted June 2, 2002 Who should be the next to write a book? I think you all KNOW who I think should write a book. Ch......... ...RIS JERICHO!!!!!!! If that whole "forgotten match" article from wwe.com is any indication, Jericho's book would definitely be a good read.........right up there with Chyna's book (don't act like you didn't know it was coming).
Guest Posted June 2, 2002 Report Posted June 2, 2002 I always tought that Austin should write a book. I mean, for awhile, he WAS wrestling. and either Jericho or Benoit. They both have seen so much that it would be awesome to read. And am I the only one that thought Angle came off as an arrogant jackass in his book? What?
Guest Anglesault Posted June 2, 2002 Report Posted June 2, 2002 What did Angle say in his book? I heard he DID say that he had to carry Test to a good match, but that's all.
Guest Sandman9000 Posted June 2, 2002 Report Posted June 2, 2002 Faarooq, just because I want to see if I can understand what he writes better then what he says.
Guest Imarkout4chrisdaniels Posted June 2, 2002 Report Posted June 2, 2002 Tony Norris (AKA Ahmed Johnson), in an audio-tape book
Guest Posted June 3, 2002 Report Posted June 3, 2002 And am I the only one that thought Angle came off as an arrogant jackass in his book. Yes, Yes you are.
Guest crandamaniac Posted June 3, 2002 Report Posted June 3, 2002 I may not like these guys, but i wouldn't mind reading a book by Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Vince Russo. Of course, i could be the only one who'd read it
Guest converge241 Posted June 3, 2002 Report Posted June 3, 2002 In order most wanted: Cornette Russo (being shopped around to publishers right now) Heyman --those three would be great, even if some stuff would be bent or altered. Michaels Jericho Raven (he seems like he would have a good writing style) Guerrero
