The One and Only Velocity Thread

First off, read my column on the main-page.  Hurry, before it gets knocked off! Second off, does anyone else watch Velocity? If so, what did you think about it? The only thing I can say that I haven't already said in my column is... why did Morrus become a jobber in the first place? Because he was an ex-WCW guy? If it was up to me, way back at Survivor Series when he and Chavo were "fired" by Shane and ran into the immunity battle royal, they should've won.  They would've made better use of immunity storywise than Test, although it didn't matter by then because the WCW guys were removed of all credibility long since.  Anyway... what do you guys think of Hugh and Velocity?

Oh, one more thing before I go to bed, Al Snow sucked at commentary, which is disappointing because he was really funny on Sunday Night HeAT before.  He was shilling alongside with Michael Cole for most of the show, up until the main event, when he got a few cracks in, but that's all.  Whasupwidat? Why can't "heel announcers" actually act like that anymore, instead of just another shill?

I like Velocity, and it's good to see the WWF actually make it out to be a semi-important program. I think tonight's Velocity blew, it was pretty boring until Val vs. D-Von got my interest.

 

And I like Hugh Morrus, I've always liked him. He always puts in a good effort into his matches, more than what I can say for others, is a good athlete with good agility, and has a decent enough moveset... when allowed to deviate from the WWF way of doing things. His major fault is that he can't work with everyone, only with faster opponents, which is why his match vs. Albert kinda blew. And tonight, on Velocity, he was running the ropes pretty slow... I've seen him work faster.

They need a cruiserweight match in each show to  keep bringing in viewers. The Val match was kool though, but overall Velocity was feh.
