Guest Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 I have a question... What if the WWE debuts Jamie Knoble, or Shannon Moore as the stalker of Hurricane? Would it be a let down? Would the live fans fart on it? Let's look at it realistically... A good 95% of the people who are at Smackdown tonight, probably have no clue who Shannon Moore or Jamie Knoble is. This angle has been built up for several weeks now, leading to some anticipation of who this person is. If Knoble walks out, most people are going to be saying "who the hell is that?" and will probably be let down because of that Would it technically be a mistake to debut someone the WWE fans have no clue about? Keep in mind, this is different from debuting someone like Brock who the fans didnt know either, because it wasn't teased for weeks What do you guys think
Guest Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 Who cares Hurricane sucks anyway. Hpofully his stalker is Scott Norton, so he can eat hurricane to death.(after giving him the super shoulder breaker 50000 times of course)

I'd love to see those guys back on TV. On the other hand, though, you're probably correct. Most WWE fans who never watched WCW aren't going to have any idea who Moore or Knoble are, which would obviously be detrimental to the angle.
Guest Rick001 Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 I tuned into the last episode of WCW Nitro and saw Jamie Knoble and Shannon more (along others) in a 6 man 3 team cruiser tag contest and liked what I saw. I think the WWE downplayed the Hurricane (big suprise there since I think they don't consider the Cruiserweights to be good wrestlers) and having this suprise stalker good give it the boost and an earthshaking 5 cruiserweights on SMACKDOWN!

You missed a lot of good Cruiser stuff, then. They even had Cruiser tag belts, and pretty good matches every week. They even gave Modest & Daniels a match. Kidman, Rey, Helms, Moore, Knoble, Kaz, Elix Skipper, Kid Romeo, Styles & Paris. Good times, good times...
Guest Cataclysm911 Posted June 6, 2002 Report Posted June 6, 2002 They way I see it, it doesn't matter if the "casual fans" don't know who it is or not. If he entertains the crowd, they should like him. It has already been leaked out whom the stalker is anyway. I won't say it, in case you don't want to know, but it appears as if the WWE found a way to avoid the problem that you speak of. At least somewhat.
