Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 Man second row seats rule! Anyways SD! was awesome. It's probably because I was there live but hey what the hell. The show seemed to go over 2 hours though. So I expect some things to be cut out...like the battle royal to decide who the #1 contender is. Anyways onto some things I want to say about it: -The number of marks who gave me dirty looks and yelled at me when I said Hogan or HHH sucks was mind boggling. -My "HHH destroyed Jericho's credibility" got some stares from the ring. Al Snow saw it and read it and then leaned over to Randy Orton...they both looked at it, read it, whispered something to each other, got this wide eyed look and walked off. HHH was posing in the corner, he read it and then gave me a go to hell look. -Jackie turns on Linda during Velocity and joins Ivory.....does anybody care? -UT and Kurt appear to be starting a relationship. UT comes through the crowd while Angle distracts Hogan and HHH(UT ran right by me Taker Mark) and beats the hell out of HHH and Hogan. Well after they are done UT presents Angle with his bandanna and ties it on. They come back to the ring(after cameras are done rolling) and get beat up by the faces. Angle is de-wigged and Hogan wears it. After the faces leave Angle cries for Hogan to bring his wig back and UT rushes to the ring and covers Angle with a towel. Hmmm....... -Security took away our Hogan sucks sign.....bastards. -Security(wwf security not arena) gave me dirty looks everytime I loudly booed somebody that is supposed to be a face. -I got a lot of laughs from my section when I looked straight at Mitchel Cole after Kidman did a Ryden Bomb and said "It's a Ryden Bomb Cole! Call it! Don't say "look at that!!!!" Cole turned around and stared in my direction but he didn't know who yelled. -Hurricane found out his arch-nemesis was in his locker room and he headed off to find him but he was never shown finding out who it was. WHATSUPWITDAT!? I guess he got lost on the way to his locker room. Anyways it was a great show and I had fun. Just wanted to share these things.

PLEASE tell me you tried to start a RVD chant when HHH was doing a promo or doing his match. PLEASE!
Guest Muzz Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 lol, that was a great sign, I wish Vince saw it.
Guest Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 Good to see you chose a good sign finally. Also, hilarious that Good Ol' MC heard you. It's relieving to hear, period, that you were able to get away with so much. I mean, I know that the people who take signs are non-fans who wouldn't get them and are only given basic directions as to what to take, but still, you think a WWE guy would have taken it.

I thought for sure you were going to say he smirked at you after reading your sign. It appears they've already done more with Linda and Jackie on tv than they ever did with Nidia. Guess all those boos when Jackie won lalso made an impact on them.

First, the sign guy on RAW, now the Damaramu!!!! The Revolution has begun! The smart marks have spoken and soon we will infect every WCW... err... WWE broadcast until Vince accepts you cannot control an unsatisfied mass!
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 Now if only we can start RVD chants during HHH promos on Smackdown.
Guest Flyboy Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 Yeah.. Just imagine the look on HHH's face if he heard that. Maybe after he said something like... HHH: I AM THE GAME-UHHHHH!! Who can say that they are better than me? A huge RVD chant starts up... Man, that would rock. Oh well... it'd get edited anyways, but still.
Guest Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 Smackdown is in Greenville next week, but I don't think I'll be able to go. Distance isn't a factor, I went up there for a Raw in December of 2000(Foley getting fired, McMahon retaking control), but its timing is just bad. See, we're going to Washington for National Academic Championship. Thursday-Sunday we'll be there. If we win, and we will probably do so, we head out to Pepperdine University in Malibu for the Finals. We wouldn't leave until Thursday, but I would need that Tuesday to study and stuff, and it's three hours to drive up there. If it were here instead, I'd go no question. .National Academic Championship, sanctioned by Questions Unlimited If that wasn't the case though, I'd SO do my damndest to start an RVD chant.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 I don't think it would be hard to get one started...the trick is to make it show up on tv. It would have to actually interrupt whatever HHH was doing...even then they could edit. alas...it would only lead to HHH squashing RVD anyway.
Guest Flyboy Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 If Hunter wins the title at KotR, I wouldn't be surprised if there is a HHH/RVD match the next night on Raw where RVD gets squashed. Oh well... I'm going to be doing much RVD Vs. HHH's in WMX8, next week... I'll show him.
Guest Sakura Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 My "HHH destroyed Jericho's credibility" got some stares from the ring. You know, I bet THE GAME is behind the missing theme songs in X8. Yes, HHH is holding down Booker by making sure his real theme isn't in the video games. That evil son of a bitch!!!
Guest buffybeast Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 "The number of marks who gave me dirty looks and yelled at me when I said Hogan or HHH sucks was mind boggling." Damn, how can people let themselves be so infected by the WWF marketing machine? Hogan does suck, dammit!!! "My "HHH destroyed Jericho's credibility" got some stares from the ring. Al Snow saw it and read it and then leaned over to Randy Orton...they both looked at it, read it, whispered something to each other, got this wide eyed look and walked off. HHH was posing in the corner, he read it and then gave me a go to hell look." LOL, HHH wanted to strangle you, probably. That was a great sign, btw. "Security took away our Hogan sucks sign.....bastards." What is WWF so afraid of? If Hogan's character is so popular, then what difference does a few anti-Hogan signs make? "Security(wwf security not arena) gave me dirty looks everytime I loudly booed somebody that is supposed to be a face." What the hell? Anyway, glad you had a great time, Mighty. But you forgot to make the "Albert is sexy" sign. WHATSUPWITDAT?

Guest Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 hhh held my nephew back a grade in school. I hate him --Rob
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 HHH didnt like my "The Game is Full of Bugs" sign that I took to Smackdown in early 2001. He saw it as well and gave me one of those "who do you think you are?" looks.
Guest Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 Why-the-hell-is-Linda-wrestling? She-just-got-the-dammed-contract-last-week! Linda-Face Jackie-Heel It's-booked-the-wrong-way.
Guest Brian Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 Someone needs to bust out the double-sided sign: We don't need Undertaker anymore Triple H buries wrestlers for us Take the first side, leave the back blank.
Guest myburninghammer Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 I always thought something like "HHH: How can you be a leader if you won't do the JOB?" was sort of catchy. Hi-larious. If you guys really wanted to fuck some shit up, you should unify your efforts. If a different person on the board had seats visible on television each week and carried the same sign--say, I dunno, "the smarks are coming..."--you'd not only mess with the WWF but sort of freak the people at home out. You'd do a better job of pushing yourselves than the WWF could, that's for sure.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 You did a good job, son. A damned good job.
Guest What?! Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 I'd go with a "Get the StepHHH out" sign.
Guest Posted June 6, 2002 Report Posted June 6, 2002 Hahahahaahahha a "Triple H Stole Jericho's Credibility" Sign. Damn i wish i thought of that one.
Guest TheyCallMeMark Posted June 6, 2002 Report Posted June 6, 2002 Someone needs to bust out the double-sided sign: We don't need Undertaker anymore Triple H buries wrestlers for us Take the first side, leave the back blank. Brian, you are my hero.
Guest Posted June 6, 2002 Report Posted June 6, 2002 That was indeed a good sign, but I thought the yelling at Cole about the Ryden bomb was funnier.
