Well, Chyna ALWAYS interfered for DX back then, and they got cheers for it.

 

As for HHH...he's better as a heel, but he should stay face for now. A heel turn would unneccessarily shake up the flow of the fed right now, which may not be a good thing.

I dont think his face heat around that time was close to the level it even was around the end of the run or right after WMX7 (yeah i know for one friggin night) IMO... he did have some though youre right i remember when Austin was interrogating and HHH was all nicey, I was at a Smackdown around Summerslam (the rock-hhh-angle one) and they was abundant cool heel heat, like the biggest ive seen since the NWO heyday.

Yeah, Trip got a pretty big pop at Unforgiven 2000 (even I clapped for him, and I hate the man). Whoever decided to turn him heel when they did should be shot.

He doesn't need steph for any reason.  Just have him walk up to the biggest face on whatever roster he's on, punk them out with his trusty sledgehammer, and Presto... instant heel turn complete with heat.  I do agree that if he hadn't buried Angle and Jericho, matchups on Smackdown would be easier.
