Guest NoCalMike Posted June 7, 2002 Report Posted June 7, 2002 Watching smackdown, this match although rushed and limited to 3-5 minutes, was pretty exciting. It is just a shame that it had to have a short running time to make way for 5 minute ring entrances for Hogan and Triple H....OH THE HORROR
Guest Flyboy Posted June 7, 2002 Report Posted June 7, 2002 Yeah... it could have been awesome. They always did have damn good matches in WCW... damn good ones. They were a hell of a tag team, too... I teamed up like twice. I say they have them go *at least* 10 minutes at KotR in the tourny..
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted June 7, 2002 Report Posted June 7, 2002 I totally agree. BUT, at least Storm didn't job.
Guest Posted June 7, 2002 Report Posted June 7, 2002 I'd love to see Kidman and Storm enter the King of the Ring tournament and face each other, but, since Jericho will be there (and win, I hope), I don't think it's gonna happen; the tourney would end up a little too Smackdown-heavy. But hey, ya never know.
Guest dreamer420 Posted June 7, 2002 Report Posted June 7, 2002 i loved what kidman and storm did last night. that ddt that storm hit kidman with was fucking sick. the promo they had before the match was good, kidman got a big pop when he came out, and if they were given about 10 minutes to wrestle I'm sure we would see something brilliant.
Guest Posted June 7, 2002 Report Posted June 7, 2002 Yeah, guys like Kidman and Storm could really deliver if given the time. When they only get 3 minute matches (much like most Cruiserweight matches) they just look like a bunch of moves jammed together in there and I know damn well Storm is a great story teller in the ring.
Guest dreamer420 Posted June 7, 2002 Report Posted June 7, 2002 i have noticed that the wwe seems to be giving a lot more time for main events recently. hopefully they will limit the number of matches they will put on a card so the entire show doesn't seem so rushed.
Guest Posted June 7, 2002 Report Posted June 7, 2002 anyone notice the air time that Storm got on that dropkick?
Guest dreamer420 Posted June 7, 2002 Report Posted June 7, 2002 storm always pulls out the mad air on all of his moves. from springboards to dropkicks, to moves off the top, lance rules it all.

Guest Flyboy Posted June 8, 2002 Report Posted June 8, 2002 storm always pulls out the mad air on all of his moves. from springboards to dropkicks, to moves off the top, lance rules it all. That's why I'm the founder of the revolution.

The sad thing is that the Storm vs. Kidman match was total time filler until the main event. But at least Storm won the match and Cole tried to put him over, so I guess it's a start. Too bad Kidman had to job in the procees in such an underwhelming match.
Guest Posted June 8, 2002 Report Posted June 8, 2002 Hey all first post Yes I thought it was a good match but could have been alot better given some more time. I rekon it would be cool if Storm started a stable similar to Team Canada. I don't know about you guys but I rekon that was a good gimmick and helped getting lance over in WCW.
