Guest Posted June 8, 2002 Report Posted June 8, 2002 I just thought of this Rock is rumored to make a return at SummerSlam which will probably be either A) his last match in the WWE ever or B) one of two matches within the next year with WrestleMania being a possibility Rock is on Smackdown's roster Benoit needs to be traded to RAW and most likely will be moved in some form or fashion before either Vengeance or SummerSlam, leaving an open spot on Smackdown Vince and Flair are somewhat on the same page right now The nWo needs to be traded for Benoit simply because there isn't anyone for them to feud with on RAW and with the stable becoming a main event attraction because of the new addition. Shawn most likely will end up wrestling. This leaves two months to prepare for a comeback match SummerSlam is the second biggest ppv of the year. What better ppv is there to make a comeback match? Yeah yeah, WrestleMania but that's too far away Most likely Austin will still be feuding with Benoit/Guerrero/Flair so that leaves him out, although they could blow off the entire thing by SummerSlam in favor of Austin/Rock I could honestly see the possibility of an HBK vs. Rock match at SummerSlam. Rock would most likely go over simply because if he were to return he would probably be more popular than ever before. What do you guys think? Could we see HBK/Rock at SS? If so would it be a good idea? Since both Rock and Michaels have been out of the ring so long, would the match be destined to be a disaster?
Guest Posted June 8, 2002 Report Posted June 8, 2002 How bout Jericho, especially since he probably won't be doing anything more worthwhile than licking HHH boots clean.
Guest Posted June 8, 2002 Report Posted June 8, 2002 I wouldn't mind seeing Rock vs. Jericho again but Rock vs. HBK would be a bigger match because we haven't seen it before (at least not in the last 6 years)
Guest Army Eye Posted June 8, 2002 Report Posted June 8, 2002 Jericho vs. Rock you mean? They have fought dozens of times in the last 12 months alone. I don't know how much money that match would draw at this point.

It would take several months to build it back up, and in the end I think he'll be losing to Edge anyway in their feud, which is another subject of debate
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted June 8, 2002 Report Posted June 8, 2002 Did HBK ever fight Rock? I know he had a boring ass 'feud' with HHH on RAW in 1996, but I don't remember him ever facing Rock.
Guest alfdogg Posted June 8, 2002 Report Posted June 8, 2002 Well, if the match is in the US, I guess Shawn's winning...
Guest Cataclysm911 Posted June 8, 2002 Report Posted June 8, 2002 I, for one, definately don't want to see The Rock vs. Shawn Michaels. Shawn Michaels should only be used to put younger talent over in my opinion, and I question the Rock's heart as it pertains to the business nowadays. I say that the Rock should just go do movies, and HBK should put over a new talent. Maybe help establish Jericho more, or perhaps thrust someone completely new into the main event. I have people that I could list that I would like to see HBK give the job to, but I don't want to list them for the difference of opinion on this board. Truthfully, I wish that HBK would not return to the ring at all. I think that he should stay out putting over Austin clean at Wrestlemania 14. Then again, the WWE doesn't need another mouth piece, especially one just for the nWo, so maybe he shouldn't have came back at all.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted June 8, 2002 Report Posted June 8, 2002 HBK did give the Rock a righteous superkick on the first smackdown though. SMACK!
