Here is the current poster planned for Vengenace...

How do all of you interpret this? Seems like a sort of paranoia-Austin angle or something, but hey, im always wrong when it comes to these things...so somebody call a pro

Judging from Austin's little hissy fit Monday night, they'll be changing the content on that poster soon enough.

Im sure it was made up in advance to push some kind of Flair screwing Austin kind of deal and an Austin-Eddy stipulation match

I hate being reminded that I'm probably never gonna get to see any Austin-Guerrero and Austin-Benoit matches now. Argh.

This time, I can feel for Austin. He has already been shoved out of the mian event, and he gets the program he wants for the mid-card. And suddenly he's pushed out of that for Lesnar. Lesnar who means nothing right now and it's going to take more than a program with Austin to fix where the WWf has messed up with him.

According to everything I've read, Austin wasn't pissed because Lesnar was taking his spot. We honestly don't know the full reason why Austin was pissed but from what I've heard it was a combination of frustration with storylines and possibly not wanting to wrestle Lesnar on free TV like with Flair that should've been placed on ppv and not given away for free

It's crazy that the WWE hasn't learned from WCW's mistakes (Goldberg vs. Hogan - on Nitro)

I can understand saving Flair/Austin for PPV or Benoit/Austin or Eddy/Austin, but I don't see the big deal with giving away Lesnar vs Austin on free TV. It's not like Lesnar is some big "phenom" like Goldberg was. Maybe he is with the smarks, but not with the core audience.

By that logic, no matches should take place on free TV. Seriously, maybe a year or two down the road when Brock has some sort of history with the business.. but now? Who cares.

But, I don't purchase their PPV's anymore, so I could care less whether or not something is "saved" for PPV.

I'd have killed to see Brock finish Austin with the SSP though.

Anyone else think that the "Lesnar/Heyman and Vince alliance" is playing on both sides of the fence? What I mean is that the current 'storyline' plays out as a not so subtle cheap shot at Austin by pushing Lesnar and saying stuff like' "forget about Austin, Lesnar is the future." Yet at the same time, if Austin comes back one of these days; the whole "Brock" angle can come off as a total work and a possible feud. "Austin returns to take his place atop the wrestling world by defeating the Next Big Thing."

Vince wins in this scenario because he either A) can take subtle shots at Austin by pushing Brock in his place or B) using that very same "shoot angle" as a possible angle for a returning Austin.

Well, if they stop saving money matches for PPV and go out of business... you won't have anything to care less about.

Dude, hush. Detroit gets RAW seemingly 4 or 5 times a year. I wish I could be that jaded..

Yea, but if they have the occasional "money match" on free TV, it just might spike interest in the product amongst casual fans to buy the PPV.
