There is a rumor going around claiming Steve Austin walking out on RAW last night could be part of a "shoot style" storyline, something WCW was infamous for doing towards the end of their tenure.

Many say the shoot comments made by Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels on RAW, as well as the hyped segments on Byte This! featuring Austin outwardly open with his frustration in the creative direction, and Vince McMahon following up on those the following week.

It is a possibility that WWE rushed the storyline of getting ownership away from Ric Flair storyline-wise, so that Steve Austin can return and bring what was, and possibly still is, a real life situation with frustration in the company on-air as a storyline. Rumors claim he will return with Eric Bischoff, and create a new faction trying to gain control of WWE over Vince McMahon.

Didn't we establish after the Plane Ride from Hell that Wrestlezone is full of shit? This is the site that steals other site's stories without giving credit, AND often makes up shit of their own.

As a side note: I would be more than happy if this was all a work. I don't Austin to go, but if this is for real--which I think it is--then he should stay gone. We don't need another Bret Hart situation.

PWTorch and 411 have it up now.

A number of sites also saidd that Eddy Guerrero had been fired after the Plane Ride from Hell, and Wrestlezone was the first to report it. Grain of salt, man, grain of salt.
