It's no secret that the WWE has a lot of wrestlers past their prime.  Which do YOU think should retire?  By retiring I mean not being in a match every week.  The ones I think should are as follows:

The Undertaker(getting up there and getting a gut)

Hulk Hogan(almost in his fifties, always works the same match)

Kevin Nash(bad legs, bad workrate, asshole, ect al)

The Bossman(been around since the 80's, not over at all)

Tommy Dreamer(too many injuries and a bad back)

Vince McMahon(not an active wrestler but should stay out the ring)

Ric Flair(see Vince)

The Undertaker(getting up there and getting a gut)

Like it or not, he still gets a reaction, he can still cut a promo, and unlike many of the "younger" guys, he seems to still like what he is doing. He'll be around for at least two more years, and I don't blame him.

Hulk Hogan(almost in his fifties, always works the same match)

This is his last run in the big time, and he'll be gone after this last and final run on top. He's signed to three years I believe, so don't plan on him leaving right now. Should he reitre  though? No, not yet, he still has people to job to, put over, etc... Should he retire within the year then get into an owner/manager role? Then yes, of course. Hell, you just KNOW we will see the Hogan/Flair Main Event on a PPV sooner or later also, lol.

Kevin Nash(bad legs, bad workrate, asshole, ect al)

He shouldn't wrestle all that offten, unless he picks it up in the ring, but he IS a valuable character when it comes to presentation, voice for a group, etc...

The Bossman(been around since the 80's, not over at all)

He should have retired years ago, there is no use for him at all except for maybe a trainer, scout, or a manager.

Tommy Dreamer(too many injuries and a bad back)

Tommy Dreamer is going no where anytime soon either. He is only 31 or 32 or so, so he has plenty of years left in him. I remember an interview with him on WWE.com a while back where he stated that his back was finally in the best shape of his career, and he's ready to really go at it in the ring once again, and I for one he gets his chance. By the looks of it, they plan on doing SOMETHING with him now.

Vince McMahon(not an active wrestler but should stay out the ring)

In my eyes, Vince McMahon shouldn't be on TV at all, in any form or fassion. I think the McMahon era is dead and gone, and should finally be laid to rest.

Ric Flair

He's one of the best on the mic, he can STILL pull out ****+ matches when in the ring with the right person, so no, he should not retire totally right now.

I think this should be in general wrestling.  There are too many of these type of threads.

I think respect should be shown to these wrestlers, wanting to force them into retirement, riiiiiiight.  Hogan, undertaker and nash and still move the merchandise, flair is still the shit, I have seen dreamer put 100% live, to many times to tell him to retire.  Bossman could be used right if given the chance.  Maybe the wwf should force everyone who acually turns a profit to retire :)

I think Vince should retire.

Hogan of course. But it should be in grand fashion. (No more of those other fake retirements.)

Bossman I suppose..........but the man can still draw some heat in low-card, so he's still useful.

Faarooq is worn down with injuries and isn't the same man he used to be. Unless the APA is reformed (thus hiding his condition in the tag division), I'm guessing ol' Ron is gonna hang up his boots fairly soon. Damn.........

Everybody else seems A ok by me. Just cause someone is a jobber doesn't mean they should retire or be fired. When all the jobbers are gone, who will be left to lay down for the 1-2-3?

Steve Austin...

oops, too bad..you're fired.

Bossman could be used right if given the chance.

Explain this for me.

i've said it beofre, if 911 could get over, anyone can get over, it's very simple

it's very simple

Then explain how he can get over.

IF I could, wouldn't I be working for the wwf?  Think about it, it's not my job to figure this shit out, but I can definitly assume it's possible because people far worse than him have been champions and gotten mega heat.

If you can't explain it to me, then I guess it isn't as "simple" as you said it was.

I should also point out that the last time he was over was more than ten years ago.

Sid may be a worse wrestler than BBM, but he could probably draw hella more money.

last time he was over was when he fueded with al snow, sure the payoff match was terrible, but those vignettes were fucking hilarious

Easy. Get Bossman to go back to the policeman look and the Hard Time music, and have the younger guys as they start coming up from OVW feud with him because they think he's dead weight and holding people back. Bossman would be a face though, because he'd be entertaining this time around.

I should have clarified myself a little more, my mistake.  In 1999, that was over the HC title, in 1991, he was feuding with Hennig for the I-C.

Big difference between I-C title over in 1991 and HC title over in 1999.

That's a good point.  But then you just got more nostalgia.

placement in a company does not necessarily mean over.  As long as you draw a reaction, your over.  Thats what was cool about wwf 1998, almost the whole roster was over.  Now maybe 50% of the roster is over. blah, anyways, placement does not dictate heat.  Or the other way around

True.

This is the way I look at it though:

Boss Man came back in the middle of December as an assistant to Vince or something.  He was slightly over for about two weeks, was eliminated first from the Rumble, teamed with Perfect for a little while with no heat, and now isn't on TV.  I just can't think of anything else to do.  And I was only asking if you could.  That's all.

Judging by the WWE use of him, they don't know what to do with him either.  I just don't see the good in him wrestling anymore.  Maybe he should just become a Road Agent.

I just wanna see X-Pac and Bossman team-up and form the most HATED tag team ever. I don't think the fans could control themselves because of the pure hatred that would be running through their veins.

OMG, I would mark out like a five year old if BBM came out in his old gear and music.

Yes, that is nostalgia.  And yes, I'd be no better than those loser Hogan fans who scream for the red and yellow.

But I'd still mark out for the old Bossman.

i don't think anyone in the wwe needs to retire as of yet.  if there was anyone in need of retirement they would be forced to do so by management.
