Guest Posted June 17, 2002 Report Posted June 17, 2002 The cynical part of me says Trips, but the part of me that knows that WWE occasionally will do something right will say RVD. If Hunter is the one that winds up pinning Brock first, I seriously doubt it will kill Brock's career. Brock is nowhere near as over as Goldberg was, and though he's shown little of it so far, Brock has a lot more depth in his character than Mr. Bill G. had, so I think he can survive a pinfall loss to just about anyone in the upper card.
Guest The Vanilla Midget Posted June 17, 2002 Report Posted June 17, 2002 rvd or booker t. defeating brock wont give any rub to a main event face, but if he is built up a little more and the loss is played for all its worth, it would do wonders (and may possibly happen) for either of these two. as somebody said before, rvd over brock in the KotR final could be a distinct possibility, as no way is brock ready to ME a ppv, and RVD is, even if it isnt the top match on the card. and if brock does win KotR, no way is he getting the title yet.

RVD same thing with Undertaker almost had the title not the IC champ but the fans pop Tommy Dreamer vommiting more than RVD's skills. Just if either Taker HHH or Hogan beat Lesner you can bet we will see him jobbing to Funaki on metal shortly after.

The only apathy RVD has experienced has been with the booking committee. The man's still over. (I'm ignoring that out-and-out absurd notion of Lesnar jobbing to Funaki.)

Please, FNK hasn't had a win since... uhhh... damn! I think when he was teamed with Hurricane for a few makeshift Metal matches Hurricane got the pin, so technically FNK won, but I don't think I've ever seen FNK get a pinfall once in the entire time I've been watching wrestling... oh, and I'm not counting his "accidental" win over Lance Storm for obvious reasons that it happened off TV and therefore exists outside of this plane of reality Although it would be pretty damn funny to see everyone in the crowd simultaneously stop dead, their jaws dropped to the floor, and the announcers and Heyman too...
