Guest evenflowDDT Posted June 16, 2002 Report Posted June 16, 2002 Hey... I'm going to RAW tomorrow, and I wanted to know if they tape HeAT before or after, because our tickets say the show starts at 5:30pm (8:30pm EST), but isn't HeAT a one-hour show? I know a lot of that is in recaps and commercials, but is a half hour enough time for the dark matches and HeAT taping? How early should I get there?
Guest Frankie Williams Posted June 16, 2002 Report Posted June 16, 2002 At all the Raws ive been too Jakked/Metal has been taped first. Now that Heat is a Raw show i assume they do the same. Heat matches arent that long so they ususally go one after the other with no breaks.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted June 17, 2002 Report Posted June 17, 2002 Thanks Frankie... I'll be arriving at the arena around 4, so hopefully that's more than enough time for me to buy my Hurricane shirt at the souvenir stand, and maybe even get an autograph or something...
Guest JHawk Posted June 17, 2002 Report Posted June 17, 2002 Being a west coast Raw though, there probably won't be any dark matches, and don't expect more than three matches taped for Heat unless they're all in the 2 minute range. They still need the live cutaway from STTNG and to change the aprons and stuff too.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted June 17, 2002 Report Posted June 17, 2002 Damn, I hadn't thought of that... I was really hoping to see what this Prototype guy was all about, or Chris Harvard in action... do those two still work dark matches? Did Chris Harvard ever work dark matches? My friend who I'm going with told me he did but I've never heard anything about it before.
Guest franchise632 Posted June 17, 2002 Report Posted June 17, 2002 or Chris Harvard in action... You will probably see Chris Harvard in action but with debuting on RAW with William Regal last week, I highly doubt he would be in any dark matches at this time. You will likely get to see him at some point im sure.
Guest RetroRob215 Posted June 17, 2002 Report Posted June 17, 2002 The last Raw I went to had 2 dark matches, but that was on the East Coast.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted June 17, 2002 Report Posted June 17, 2002 The last Raw I went to had 2 dark matches, but that was on the East Coast. Yea, you east-coasters always get ALL the good stuff
Guest claydude14 Posted June 17, 2002 Report Posted June 17, 2002 at the smackdown taping in rochester (first after brand extension) chris harvard wrestled rikishi in a dark math (jobbed too )
Guest Posted June 17, 2002 Report Posted June 17, 2002 Remember Heat this week will be the King Of The Ring pre-game show...the Heat taping should be for International TV When I go to a RAW or SmackDown! taping here in Montreal...there's usually 2 dark matches, 4 Heat/Velocity matches, and the live show
