Guest Downhome Posted June 16, 2002 Report Posted June 16, 2002 Yeah, it's nothing major, but still... ...I can't quite put my finger on it, but something about that just being on ANY Pro. Wrestling site makes me sick. Yeah, it brings back horrible memories. :-)
Guest Posted June 16, 2002 Report Posted June 16, 2002 So the WWE is going to shill this movie for the next month? I guess we know who will be the next Undisputed Champion is then..
Guest Posted June 16, 2002 Report Posted June 16, 2002 "So the WWE is going to shill this movie for the next month? I guess we know who will be the next Undisputed Champion is then.." Don't even kid about that.

Don't even kid about that. They DID show him on the front row a few weeks ago on one of their programs. I'm telling you, I bet that the signing of David is the "big plan" than Vince has in store for us now!
Guest Posted June 16, 2002 Report Posted June 16, 2002 With the way the belt is getting tossed like a hot potater, I wouldn't be surprised if they give Arquette a month with it.
Guest Posted June 16, 2002 Report Posted June 16, 2002 He'll probably go over Angle Jericho and Benoit too.
Guest jimmy no nose Posted June 17, 2002 Report Posted June 17, 2002 We can only hope this movie is as good as Ready to Rumble. I bet $100 he wrestles in a match this year.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted June 17, 2002 Report Posted June 17, 2002 Eh... maybe they'll do like with Planet of the Apes and have the spiders themselves make an appearance at the arena. I'd pay to see that! As for David Arquette being champion, it'll never happen because DDP is retired and can't help him get the win. You have to admit though, it WAS funny to see Arquette at a Smackdown taping in L.A. a few months back with a "Former World Champion" sign.

Agreed. Especially given the way the announcers were studiously avoiding mentioning the fact that he was in fact a former World Champ.

Seriously, that was not fucking funny. Anyone got the pic of david holding up the sign saying former wcw world champion at smackdown i believe it was.
Guest Posted June 17, 2002 Report Posted June 17, 2002 (Incadenza, it's State of America, minus the s.) I used to have that saved on my computer as a chilling reminder of how bad things could be and that things have yet to degenerate that much. However, I deleted it long ago.
Guest Posted June 17, 2002 Report Posted June 17, 2002 (Incadenza, it's State of America, minus the s.) I was hired merely for my stunning good looks. Did you expect anything better from me?
Guest humongous2002 Posted June 17, 2002 Report Posted June 17, 2002 No wonder Austin left the WWE, he was afraid of jobbing to David Arquette.
