Actually, police reports are part of the public record, so all it would take is somebody requesting the report, making a photocopy of it, and scanning it.  Wow, that journalism course actually paid off!

Damn, Austin really has gone off the deep end this time.  It's a shame he couldn't just settle down and talk to a counselor about his troubles at work and at home.  I don't know what to think of this.  How come it always happens to the best of them (see: Hart, Bret)?

Oh haysoos, stop making it sound like he's some raving maniac that is some danger to all of humanity. Of course it's not right to hit your woman and i'm not defending the act at all. However shit happens and just because someone does it doesn't automatically make them some mentally screwed up monster that needs professional help.

 

Just because Debra said he has done it before doesn't make it true. People will say all kind of stuff after a big fight, so can't really take anything said at that time as the concrete truth. So honestly none of us really have a right to judge him without knowing all the details or facts.

Why did Debra call the police? Did her calling them prompt Austin to leave? I'm wondering because usually you don't pick up the phone and call the cops in the middle of a beatdown, and Austin was gone when the cops came. I am imaging that he stopped and went to another room or something before she called the police. She didn't press charges or seek medical attention so I'm kind of curious as to what she intended to do and what she thought would happen. Also, if he alledgedly has hit her before, why was she surprised that he hit her?
