Guest Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 Hey, I've been reading the board a lot and I keep hearing referances made too "Hosses". I was just curious to see who your top 3 hosses in the WWE are. Mine are Bradshaw Albert Mark Henry
Guest chirs3 Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 Lesnar's gotta be in any top three. Lesnar Bradshaw ... is Test a Hoss? If so, he's my #3 pick.
Guest Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 I'm not sure if Test is considered a Hoss or not. You would assume he would be because of his height, but I don't consider Taker or Kane hosses. There is just something Test doesn't have which is why I don't consider him a Hoss. On the other hand though, I didn't consider Lesnar a hoss until last night, so I'm not sure. Hosses: Bradshaw Albert Lesnar
Guest Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 Test is still a Stud in JR's book. Maybe he will someday reach that level of Hossness, but somehow I doubt it.
Guest RetroRob215 Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 The Undertaker has been called a HOSS. I'm sure Bull Buchanan can also be considered in the HOSS division.
Guest Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 Lesnar is definitely NOT a hoss! You should be demoted to OVW for that! He's too clean and Midwestern to be a hoss. You gotta be grungy, hairy, bald, or Southern to qualify as a hoss, in addition to being big and tall. The Certified Hosses are Albert, Undertaker, Kane, Bull Buchanan, and Bradshaw. And Hoss Funk, he was a hoss in every sense of the word. Add the Berserker to that list, or would he be a huss?
Guest Ravenbomb Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 but Ross the Genius said "He's a hoss, no doubt about that' in reference to Lensar on Raw yesterday
Guest Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 but Ross the Genius said "He's a hoss, no doubt about that' in reference to Lensar on Raw yesterday Bulla bulla.
Guest chirs3 Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 Ok, Test is out, but I am positive that Lesnar is a Hoss. Good Ole' JR pinned him as a Hoss, and Bah Gawd, he would know. I still can't come up with a good third hoss for my list. I've got Lesnar and Bradshaw... I suppose the other is TBD.
Guest RetroRob215 Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 Is the Big Show even from the South?
Guest Texas Small Arms 09 Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 Is it safe to say that most of you are wondering what the hell a "hoss" is to begin with?
Guest chirs3 Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 I'd like an exact definition, if anyone can provide one. How about Buh Buh Ray Dudley? Is he a hoss by any chance?
Guest Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 nah, he's just "Bubba tough", whatever that means...
Guest chirs3 Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 Well damn it, there's gotta be a good third Hoss out there... Because there's no way I'm picking Albert or Bull Buchanan.
Guest Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 I believe Test has been described as BOTH a hoss and a stud, which is probably why he gets a push every three weeks.
Guest chirs3 Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 Whoa! This changes everything! Test is the #3 Hoss!
Guest Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 Hoss-List: Albert Albert Albert I-forget-to-say-Albert Did-I-say-Albert?
Guest buffybeast Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 Hoss-List: Albert Albert Albert I-forget-to-say-Albert Did-I-say-Albert? And by gawd Albert is the sexiest hoss of them all!
Guest the 1inch punch Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 Ok basically, a hoss is Jim Ross' wacky of saying Horse, which he can't because of the Bell's Palsy, watch Over the Edge98, he calls Bradshaw a horse
Guest Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 And by gawd Albert is the sexiest hoss of them all! What? He looks like he has a piece of carpet taped to his chest.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 Jim Ross types it as hoss though.
Guest Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 I always figured "Hoss" was a traditional slang term for "horse" and/or stud, rooted in traditional southern accent/vernacular. Never sure of the exact meaning of the word, but it's intended as a positive description of the subject. The Whiouxster's "Hoss" list: Albert Bradshaw Test Bull Buchanan Possible "Hoss" Brock Lesnar Rhino [Get the Y out] Mark Henry (?) Former "Hoss" (perhaps eligible for hoss status in their younger days, but now a bit long in the tooth. Could still propagate hosses, though no longer one himself) Farrooq Big Show Kevin Nash (?)
Guest buffybeast Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 And by gawd Albert is the sexiest hoss of them all! What? He looks like he has a piece of carpet taped to his chest. But it is a silky, smooth piece of carpet.
Guest Anglesault Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 Rhyno's not a hoss. Kane is though.
Guest Slingshot Suplex Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 Ok basically, a hoss is Jim Ross' wacky of saying Horse, which he can't because of the Bell's Palsy, watch Over the Edge98, he calls Bradshaw a horse On behalf of us in the Bell's Palsy Club, I would just like to say "Hey?!!"
