Guest wwF1587 Posted June 21, 2002 Report Posted June 21, 2002 Me, I will. I dont know why, perhaps the Russo thing slightly makes me believe it could be a semi good ppv. While nothing really shouts buy me, I am curious as to what the Rock will do and I want to see RVD win KOTR. Hell maybe Knoble/Hurricane match will get at least 15-20 minutes and that would be good. Doubt it though. oh Vince, why?
Guest Nezbyte Posted June 21, 2002 Report Posted June 21, 2002 No, i cant get PPV's Damnit all straight to hell, BAH GAWD! King Test!
Guest Prince Paul Posted June 21, 2002 Report Posted June 21, 2002 Yeah, I'll be ordering it...over at my friends new place for once. I'm sick of all those people at my house, although, the more people, the cheaper the show! I too would like to see what the Rock will do, see Angle beat Hogan (oh god he better ), and see if Brock or RVD wins KOTR. Oh yeah, hopefully Taker retains too.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted June 21, 2002 Report Posted June 21, 2002 well, I have 9 people coming over at $5 per, so I'm making money off of PPVS...I should work for the WWF or something now
Guest HHH's 'Roid Needle Posted June 21, 2002 Report Posted June 21, 2002 Yes. I've ordered every single PPV since Summerslam '91. The Streak continues!
Guest LesnarLunatic Posted June 21, 2002 Report Posted June 21, 2002 Yes. I've ordered every single PPV since Summerslam '91. The Streak continues! Money well spent, eh?
Guest Brian Posted June 21, 2002 Report Posted June 21, 2002 Hey, I'm actually looking forward to this show. I think they are going to add Booker vs. X-Pac on HEAT since they've been building to that for almost a month, and it's X-Pac and he needs that PPV appearance and bonus. Plus, it looks like Angle and Undertaker are going over. Plus Molly/Trish, Flair/Eddie, RVD/Jericho, and (K)Noble/Helms could all be good.
Guest converge241 Posted June 21, 2002 Report Posted June 21, 2002 unfortunately yes (that sounds stupid) just for Jericho - RVD and Eddie - Flair. im curious what Angle can do with Hogan. every month I say im going to stop getting them but they always book 2 good matches I want to see
Guest bob_barron Posted June 21, 2002 Report Posted June 21, 2002 I'm going to a friends house to watch it.
Guest converge241 Posted June 22, 2002 Report Posted June 22, 2002 forgot about Knoble - Hurricane.. im looking forward to that as well
Guest ManKinnd Posted June 22, 2002 Report Posted June 22, 2002 If the thought of RVD winning the KOR and cementing a title shot at SS doesn't excite you enough to buy the PPV, then shame on you.
Guest Brian Posted June 22, 2002 Report Posted June 22, 2002 There's no reason (K)Noble vs. Helms, given both are excellent workers, shouldn't be a great match if given enough time.
Guest Austin3164life Posted June 22, 2002 Report Posted June 22, 2002 I haven't ordered a WWF(E) ppv since Survivor Series 2001 (I was at WM 18), therefore I don't see why I should order this one.....
Guest Rabbi_wilson13 Posted June 22, 2002 Report Posted June 22, 2002 I'm not sure...I haven't ordered a PPV since Summerslam, but I went to Unforgiven so I havent' seen one since then, partly because DirectTV stopped carrying them for a while and partly because I didn't feel it was worth the money. But its King of the Frickin' Ring, and if they started with the QFs like they used to, then it be a definite yes. Now...I dunno. Jericho/RVD is always good, I wanna see Rocky, Flair/Eddy looks to be great and I wanna see Taker go over. Depends if I can get any of my friends together that actually want to watch it.
Guest I Fear Hogans Air Guitair Posted June 22, 2002 Report Posted June 22, 2002 Yeah Ill Be pissed if RVD doesn't Win KOTR and HHH wins the title.
Guest Mattdotcom Posted June 22, 2002 Report Posted June 22, 2002 Considering I chose being able to hook up my DVD player over keeping my cable box hooked up, no. But I can still listen to the show and watch static for free...I guess that's better than ordering it off WWE.com any day.
Guest X-Factor Corperation Posted June 23, 2002 Report Posted June 23, 2002 No, i cant get PPV's Damnit all straight to hell, BAH GAWD! King Test! Neither can I but the last one I've really wanted to see was Backlash and before that not for a long time.
Guest Human Fly Posted June 23, 2002 Report Posted June 23, 2002 I think I will, I couldn't decide, but there's a lot of things I want to see. (Here's hoping I don't regret my purchase.)
Guest The Vanilla Midget Posted June 23, 2002 Report Posted June 23, 2002 im thinking no, but i will make my final decision in the morning. i havent ordered a ppv since mania, and im probably not gonna order this, as knoble-hurricane is the only match i wanna see, and i would also have to watch hogan, trips and taker, along with the grim possibility of king brock. so no, on second thoughts i wont be ordering this ppv.
Guest midnight_burn Posted June 23, 2002 Report Posted June 23, 2002 I'm most likely ordering it, Noble/Helms, RVD/Jericho and Eddie/Flair are enough to get me to watch.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted June 23, 2002 Report Posted June 23, 2002 Should've made this a poll... I've ordered every PPV since Royal Rumble 2000 (nowhere near as much of a streak as 'Roid Needle) with the exceptions of No Mercy and Survivor Series 2000(I hadn't had time to watch, and felt I would be wasting my money if I didn't know what was going on), InVasion(fucking cable company fucked up, fuck them to fucking hell), and No Way Out 2002(fucking Knology, who you should never waste your money with, fucked up, fuck them to fucking hell). I did order No Way Out on wwf.com though, so I did get to see it live. Too bad it wasn't anything terribly special. Oops, forgot to say if I was ordering it, HELL YEAH!!! Curiosity always gets me in the end, and I doubt I'll ever be too cynical to order the shows.
Guest HBK16 Posted June 23, 2002 Report Posted June 23, 2002 Sometimes I get the PPVs for free so I'll just have to see. But if I didn't get it for free, no I wouldn't get it.
Guest Mattdotcom Posted June 23, 2002 Report Posted June 23, 2002 Here's hoping my PPV provider screws up like they did last year with InVasion and I get it for free. I'd love to see my dreams crushed (Hogan over Angle, Brock over RVD, etc.) instead of just listening to it.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted June 23, 2002 Report Posted June 23, 2002 well, I have 9 people coming over at $5 per, so I'm making money off of PPVS...I should work for the WWF or something now I-too-am-making-a-little-pocket-money-off-of-PPV's. I-have-6-friends-coming-over-and-they-are-bringing-a-couple of-their-friends.I'm-charging-$5. I-do-it-every-month. I-only-made-about-$20-last-month-cause-Judgement-Day sucked.
Guest Frankie Williams Posted June 23, 2002 Report Posted June 23, 2002 I wont be ordering it but i sure will be seeing it tonight. I love that black box...and i dont mean Jazz or Jackie. I havent payed for a ppv since 1996.
