Like SK said, the hurricane didn't get over because of the gimmick, it got over because of Helms' odd, but great, charisma.

Especially when he was talkin to Al Snow about how he'd beat Spiderman in a fight. "And then Spiderman would use his web, but my Hurrisenses would make me dodge, and i'd hit the Hurrichoke, and id yell Wassupwidat!" or somethin like that
