Obviously one of the biggest games to get coverage will HOPEFULLY be Rare's Banjo. Any other thoughts? Line Up Microsoft July 14, 2008 Gears of War 2 Fable 2 - Fall 2008 Resident Evil 5 - March 13th 2009 FINAL FANTASY XIII FALL DASHBOARD UPDATE! Nintendo July 15, 2008 Sony July 15, 2008 I'm personally hoping for Sony to pull out some hidden gems at this E3, having recently purchased a PS3 for Metal Gear Sold 4 I'm finding it very hard to find games that look good that I don't already have on the 360. So something good to look forward to would be nice. Expecting a strong show case of Gears of War 2 and Tom Clancy's End War. Also, Fable, Banjo & Kazzooooiieeeee (with demonstration of the new motion sensor controller ITS ALL THE RAGE!) and maybe some more light on the new Halo rumor. Any other hopes? They really need something to make me go 'ooooh' as there's nothing on out there that will make me buy it like a Halo or MGS4. Scroby 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2008 I'm looking forward to the Microsoft and Nintendo shows the most, I also hate the Sony shows for two reasons 1) The shows alway seem boring and more like a buisness meeting. 2) I really hate Sony and I wish they would burn in hell. Things I'm looking foward to. 1) Bungie's annoucment: I'm not so much hoping for a new Halo game because I want more Halo 3 Multi-player maps before Bungie starts working on a new Halo game. I have a feeling if they start working on a new Halo game already, they'll take focus off making and producing more Halo 3 mutli-player maps. 2) Gears of War 2: Looking foward to playing the new campain but at the same time I'm kinda hoping it's not a "Oh look at the new shiny graphics" or "Ohhhhh look at what you can do now!" kind of presentation. 3) Fable 2: Oh God Yes! 4) Nintendo's show: After already puting out so many of their great and big titles I wonder what they'll have to show this year. I know there's still Mario Baseball and also Animal Crossings and I'm assuming their going to show some new innovation games but at the same time, I wonder what they actually have to show other than sales figures and graphs. 5) Animal Crossings Wii: I want this game so badly. I don't know how they were last year, but 2006 was certainly anything but boring. We certainly don't believe in gimmicks...and you scan a card with the eye of judgement and a monster instanciates. $599 U.S. dollars! The essence of the Playstation 3 DNA is real change, and the consumers are ready. Genji 2 is an ashon game based on Japanese history. There are a lot of great new features for this game, features as real time weapon change! Being based on history there will be actual battles that took place in ancient Japan...so here's this giant enemy crab. Attack is weak point for massive damage! Scroby 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2008 G4 seems to be airing live E3 Coverage starting at 10 am (pst), though I'm not sure if they are airing the microsoft show. G4 just reported that Final Fantasy XIII isn't being displayed at E3 and also there's a sequal to Brave (PS2 game) coming out for Xbox 360, Wii, and PS3. Scroby 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2008 A Fallout 3 demo was just shown, looks pretty intresting, seems like a first person open world RPG shooter. Apprently there will have XBL exclusive content. RE5's first playable demo is now being shown. Holy shit, RE5 has a online co-op mode and chain saw weilding manic is in the game as well. Interesting intro for fable. Definitely looking forward to it. Pretty sweet, didn't realize there was any co-op to it. But question, a year or 2 ago wasn't there supposedly not going to be any more E3 conferences or something? Scroby 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2008 Gears of war 2 demo didn't really impress me, but I do like the new 5 player co-op Horde mode (lets you fight waves of hordes in a 5 player co-op mode.). Scroby 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2008 It was just annouced that NBC and Universal are going to be bringing tv shows and moves to the XBL marketplace, starting today. Also today, High-Def movies from MGM and constantine films, being added to the marketplace. I wonder if SNL will be put on the marketplace. The Xbox Live Fall update is going to give the Xbox 360 interface a entire face look and yes Xbox is adding avatars. Basically something like Nintendo's Mii's but maybe a 1,000 times better. And it'll be sweet, to show how much better mines looks better then everybody elses >_>. And as for the photosharing option, I can just imagine the amount of porn that will be distributed over Xbox Live. this gameshow thing looks pretty sweet, although I have to wonder how much it will cost. Netflix has teamed up with Microsoft and if you have a subscription to Netflix you can watch any Netflix movie and you can share any movie you're watching with someone in your XBL party. Nice. Lol at the Guitar Hero guy trying to get a pop from the crowd. XBOX 360 KARAOKE!!!!! WITH LIGHT UP MIC! Looks like you can plug in a MP3 player to the 360 and the Lips game (Karoke game) will play songs off the MP3 player. RockBand 2 is exclusivly coming out on the Xbox 360??? Somewhat excited about that, but at the same time a little weary, I never played 11 and 12, and even though I enjoyed Lost Odyssey while playing it, I only got halfway through, and I haven't really felt compelled to complete it. Don't think I'm as interested in JRPG's anymore. But, it looked a lot like FFX, which was one of my favorites, so I may have to check it out when it comes out. Gamefaqs (link inserted if your bored and what a quiet chuckle) is getting pretty bad at the moment, with people suddenly turning on their beloved FF series for 'selling out' to Microsoft.
