Brock ain't fucking Vince's daughter, so if Brock can't get over within the next month (and he wont), he won't be winning the title anytime soon.

Didn't Angle win the title faster than anyone else in WWE history? Now here comes Brock Fn Lesnar to win it in less than 5 months. Thats just rediculous. There is no way Lesnar wins the title, especially as unover as he is.

Brock winning the title from Rocky totally wouldn't surprise me either.
Guest Incandenza Posted June 24, 2002 Report Posted June 24, 2002 RVD-Taker may make sense, but it just doesn't draw as a PPV main. The only way those two will appear in the Summerslam main event is if HHH, Rock and/or Brock were thrown in there as well. And I could see that happening.

And they should remember how close RVD was that night on RAW and that should trigger much interest. Either that, or I'm thinking too highly of the marks.

I was looking at it from the WWE mentality, which dictates that Brock Lesnar would make a swell King of the Ring.

Guest humongous2002 Posted June 24, 2002 Report Posted June 24, 2002 I haven't seen Brock's SSP and I must admit that pic i saw of him looks impressive, but the guy is just not quite ready for the main event level. Actually if the weewee goes forward with pushing Brock, it will show everybody how green he is. He might be an NCAA champion but right now it's too soon for him to get a title shot, imagine if Angle won the WWF title after just 4/5 months, that would've killed his heat right then and there especially if anyone remembers how green Angle was back then.
Guest Shadow Posted June 24, 2002 Report Posted June 24, 2002 If Brock does go over Rock at Summerslam for the title, it proves Vince has really lost his mind (unless he gets crazy-over in two months, which I doubt). RVD/Taker can draw with a good program building around that RAW match where RVD almost won the World Title. That almost-win can be cut well into a pre-show highlight reel, and I know a lot of marks who end up deciding to order the show based on the hype given to it on Heat. And even if that doesn't draw with the marks, give them Rock-Brock and HHH-any nWo member on the undercard, and it can draw fine. Too bad the WeeWee isn't smart enough to do this. Most likely we'll see: Brock-Rock, Brock goes over to win the World Title after Rock won it from Taker at Vengeance, as I curse and throw things at my screen. or Some combination of HHH, Taker, Brock, Rock, and RVD in either a Triple Threat, Fatal Four Way, or another guy (Jericho?) added to make it a Six Pack Challenge. If this happens, I would say Taker keeps the belt till now and jobs it back to HHH. No, that's not what I want to see happen- second choice behind RVD winning it, but still better than Taker retaining or Brock winning it so soon in. It seems like the more realistic choice to me.
