HHH To Undergo Surgery Tomorrow; Out Of Action 2 Months

The following is from WWE.com:

CLEVELAND -- June 23, 2002 - According to sources backstage at RAW tonight, Triple H is currently in Birmingham, Ala., undergoing preliminary tests on his injured right arm.

The Game is scheduled to undergo surgery tomorrow with Dr. James Andrews, the renowned surgeon who also operated on Triple H's torn quadriceps muscle in May 2001.

Triple H first hurt the arm a couple of weeks back on SmackDown!, when Undertaker hit him with a steel chair. After the hit, The Game was unable to straighten his right arm all the way.

A preliminary examination revealed that a bone chip in his elbow had become lodged in the cartilage, locking up his arm. The chips are causing damage in Triple H's shoulder, bicep and tricep. The Game has been in a great deal of pain ever since, including at his match with the Undertaker last night at King of the Ring.

The exact type of surgery won't be known until Triple H undergoes more testing today, and until they open up his elbow tomorrow. Depending on the level of damage, the doctors may have to remove bone fragments, or they may have to shave the bone. WWE sources say The Game will miss between two and six weeks, depending on the severity of damage. He will not miss TV time during his recovery, with this week's SmackDown! being the exception.

WWE.com hopes to get a hold of Triple H for an update on his condition later this week.

So what's he going to weigh when he comes back this time? He probably won't be able to move at all.

Because, God knows, we fans can't live without seeing his mug on TV for a few weeks.

Damn, the guy is going for surgery and you guys are still taking shots at him. Hey, I used to love the guy before the injury, and I can identify with the frustration of his lack of talent, but give him a break for once......

I haven't felt like this since I was in high school and my parents would go away for the weekend.

Hopefully he starts running instead of lifting, but who knows, he might come back with quads twice as big.

Well, if HHH is going to be on my tv I'd prefer he'd be entertaining. Hopefully he comes back ready to go like in 2000.

Amen brother! Hopefully he will be thinking of a kick ass way to turn heel while he has all this time off.

Where did you get 2 months from? You got me all excited by the header, but then when I read the report it said 2-6 weeks and that he will only miss 1 week of tv.

OK. Would you rather have HHH be a bad-ass heel, or do what the WWE would probably do, and that is put him in the nWo and bust out the Kliq politics...

Had me worried until I read the part about two to six weeks, and no missed TV time beyond this Thursday's Smackdown.

But I agree with some of you in that I'd much rather see a heel HHH. He's just cooler that way. Hopefully they go through with the nWo turn they teased last night.

HHH is surely better as a heel. His face run has been pathetic. I might not even mind him that much then, except for the fact that he'll still probably always go over...when he's not injured, that is.

The split just compliacate so much, if it wasnt in place, HHH would probably be a heel. But if it wasnt, we wouldnt see the thrilling action of Raven Vs. Dreamer to see who gets demoted to Heat!

Please. He'll gain 30 pounds in water weight, waddle down to the ring and kind of nudge the sledgehammer in the general direction of the Rock. Of course, it would look much better if HHH could lift his arms to actually hit him with the Sledge, but you can't win them all.

Heel HHH is better than face HHH... but that's more by default. What makes anyone think 2000 HHH will reappear? He'll still be the roided by freak who can't move in the ring.
