Guest Trivia247 Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Sooo Does this mean Raven is Relegated to Heat from now on. Or he just buried until he's fired or is this until a few months later and he makes a return or what? Kinda strange you build a small angle with him from Heat on up only to erase him.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 exactly, i mean he didnt say WWE, he said Raw
Guest razazteca Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Raven will now be the king of Velocity and that there will most likely be a Confidential of how hard life was for poor Scotty in Barbwire City with Saturn.
Guest Brian Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Most likely Raven's character is just getting tweaked to where he can be this conspiracy victim/loner/dark spirit mold.
Guest BigTim2002 Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 If they bring back the Flock, I'm gonna mark out like crazy.
Guest Raven_Effect01 Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Their bringing back the flock. How do you know that? With the way WWE's used him, I wouldn't be surprised if he once again gets relegated to Heat and has to face the likes of Stasiak and other worthless talents again like WWE usually has him doing. Bleh, it seems like Raven's never getting pushed in WWE, just when you think he is, bam, another angle/feud dropped and he's put in random matches.
Guest BigTim2002 Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Oh, and GUYS, that is the FIRST ever victory by Tommy Dreamer over Raven. THANK YOU~!
Guest Ace309 Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 I was wondering if anyone else picked that up. I know it's not *really* his first victory over Raven ever, but it was a nice little internal hook, especially with Dreamer selling it like he just crapped himself after the match. Would have been nice if they mentioned the storyline, though.
Guest BigTim2002 Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Superior One, when WAS his first win over Raven? Because he has never beaten him to my memory?
Guest massivHEDtrauma Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Like I said on the One and Only Raw Thread, screw RVD's loss at Summer Slam, Raven losing that match is the true travesty. But, alas, I do think he'll be back...hopefully with a new flock in tow. Steven Richards and Billy Kidman perhaps? They are former associates, after all.
Guest Ace309 Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 I can't document it, but I remember reading in at least one place that Dreamer beat Raven a few times in ECW long before they started the storyline... long enough before, and insignificantly enough, that everyone more or less forgot.
Guest Sakura Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Raven can't even drink a coke backstage without people thinking it's going to signal the return of the Flock. Soon somebody will make a post talking about how Saturn, Kane and Kanyon will be in it.
Guest BigTim2002 Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 OK, but Mr. Superior, since the feud started, Tommy Dreamer hasn't beaten Raven until tonite, right?
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Uh..I think they should just let the Flock idea go. No one is gonna care about it. No one cares about Raven now as it is, so why are people gonna care when he surrounds himself with other guys no one cares about like Saturn. Pointless...
Guest Ace309 Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 As far as I know, you're correct, oh Mr. Bone, king of the JTTS. Come on back. The JL's getting depleted.
Guest Blackston Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Didn't Raven lose to Dreamer at Wrestlepalooza '97 before he left for WCW. I may be on crack, but I'm about 90% sure about that. After that match, Jerry Lawler began the WWF invasion... Correct me if I am wrong.
Guest GenerationNever Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Hate to say this, but maybe they are just going to put Raven on the creative team and retire him as an active wrestler. Raven did always say he hoped his last match was against Tommy Dreamer.
Guest Slingshot Suplex Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Blackston is correct...it was a "loser leaves ECW" match,I believe.
Guest saturnmark4life Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Uh..I think they should just let the Flock idea go. No one is gonna care about it. No one cares about Raven now as it is, so why are people gonna care when he surrounds himself with other guys no one cares about like Saturn. Pointless... saturn has '1' fan at LEAST...
Guest Will Scarlet Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Dreamer has already defeated Raven once in the WWE. He beat him awhile back on Jakked/Metal. It was right before the split, I believe.
Guest Trivia247 Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Probably wouldn't put together the Flock with the old members like Kidman or Saturn because they are on Smackdown Remember this Roster split basically breaks up any old stable we can imagine No Flocks No Impact Players No Dudley boys aw well If Raven came back with a Flock it would probably be HWA/OVW allums
Guest AssDroid! Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 If the Flock was reformed and Kidman was in it, would he get that weird skin problem again and start scratching all of the time?
Guest Ripper Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 If they just turn this into Raven brooding in the stands, stalking Tommy Dreamer for getting him fired, thus restarting the Raven Dreamer fued(even if it is on velocity or heat) I WILL MARK!! I think they are pointing towards a flock thing here though...Raven gets let go...Vince does it to more and more wrestlers on both Raw and Smackdown, and they all come back with Raven for Flock 3.0...it would work...therefore it won't happen.
Guest dpac Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 on raw vince said he was going to be cutting guys more often from tv, rumor does have it that these guys will form some sort of group of misfits and with raven being the first one gone i think it is safe to say a flock reformation is in the works,
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 First of all I don't think that it will go to a dark and brooding Raven with the way he was screaming and crying on his way out. Second of all everyone complains about the nWo being a rehash of an old and tired storyline. Well a new Flock would be the 3rd rehash of an old and tired storyline. But everyone wants to see it....despite the fact the flock had horrible wrestlers....just like the nWo.....oh I forgot....ECW! ECW! ECW! Sorry I forgot ECW is the god of all wrestling organizations....at least that's what you'd be led to believe listening to there fans.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 But there's a difference. The Flock disintegrated when it was getting tired, after roughly a year together, gaining members all throughout. The nWo continued from 1996 until 2000 without skipping a beat for more than 4 months.
Guest Blue Bacchus Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 It was truly cool to see some sort of "closure" to that fued. Even my brother who never watched ECW knew had only heard of the "mythical" fued that is Dreamer/Raven. To me that was the match of the night made by the history of the two wrestlers.
Guest Human Fly Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 What has Raven done lately though? I think people want a new Flock so it will give Raven some direction instead of doing.......what he's been doing lately.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 They could make a Flock consisting of Raven with 2 ducks and a Cantelope and as long as it got Raven more mic time and even a little push I'd be ENTHRALLED!
