Guest BoboBrazil Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 ***SUNDAY NIGHT HEAT*** (airdate June 30) Coach and Dlo Brown are the announce team. Eddie Guerrero beat Spike Dudley with the frog splash. Raven beat Matt Hardy with a rollup and his feet on the ropes after Matt missed a top rope moonsault. Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli cuts a backstage promo ripping on Cleveland. Tommy Dreamer beat Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli by DQ from a blatant low blow by Stamboli. Jacqueline was the referee, and clotheslined Stamboli after the match. Sean O'Haire beat Justin Credible with his death valley driver type finisher. Lilian Garcia comes to the ring and sings the National Anthem. Jerry lawler and Jim Ross come down to the announce table for Raw. lordsofpain.net Okay, Raven was supposedly fired, but now he is wrestling on Heat. I know they said just banned from Raw, but they could have turned this into a good storyline. Johnny the Bull and Sean O'Haire debut out of nowhere. Wouldn't it have been better to debut these guys on Raw?
Guest chirs3 Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 I figured Raven would show up on Smackdown. Damn, talk about a demotion.
Guest Human Fly Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 That's pointless if Raven lost just to be demoted to Heat.
Guest Raven_Effect01 Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 That's pointless if Raven lost just to be demoted to Heat. Yeah. WWE figured:"He's Heat low mid-card material, might as well keep him there." It pains to me to see that WWE still can't see anything in Raven.
Guest Frankie Williams Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 This is what im thinking. Matt costs Jeff the match next week. Then all of a sudden he and Raven start showing up in the from row of Raw. I feel a new flock about to reform
Guest Anglesault Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Did people actually WANT to see the returns of Shawn O'Haore and Johnny the Bull? Looks like I don't have watch Heat this week,
Guest SuperTonyJaymz Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Did people actually WANT to see the returns of Shawn O'Haore and Johnny the Bull? Looks like I don't have watch Heat this week, Have you ever watched those two before? Sean O'haire is just great, better monster than Lesner and agility to boot. Johnny The Bull is pretty good too, one of the better reasons to watch the WCW hardcore divsion before WCW folded. Mainly, his match with Terry Funk. Anyways, what Im saying is they are good wretslers and you should atleast give them a shot.
Guest Anglesault Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 I DID see them in WCW, and I was...less than impressed.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 So, will the O'Haire & Johnny the Bull matches actually air on Heat? If so, I might actually watch this week.
Guest DawnBTVS Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Raven was fired from RAW, so he just can't appear on RAW which makes him still eligible for Heat. Raven=King of Heat
Guest jimmy no nose Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Well, the thing that surprises me here is that Johnny the Bull was DQed for using a low blow when one of Jeff Hardy's signature moves is a more powerful lowblow. What is this? I figured they just legalized it or something, they are pretty common these days.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Tommy Dreamer beat Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli by DQ from a blatant low blow by Stamboli. Jacqueline was the referee, and clotheslined Stamboli after the match WTF? 1) Aren't ref's supposed to be impartial? 2) Way to put over young talent
Guest buffybeast Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Johnny the Bull is young? O-kay. I read this morning that Raven will work Heat exclusively. The show itself reads well.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Johnny the Bull is young? O-kay. Unless I'm wrong, he should be in his 20's. I know he looked young when he was in WCW.

Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 You're probably thinking Big Vito (or whatever his name was). The bald one. Johnny had short blonde hair, broke his pelvis in the one match.
Guest buffybeast Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 You're probably thinking Big Vito (or whatever his name was). The bald one. Johnny had short blonde hair, broke his pelvis in the one match. Ohhh, okay. I am totally confused. I was thinking of Big Vito whom the WWF did not keep. Yes, you are right. Johnny the Bull was quite handsome and had a nice physique. He was out of WCW for quite a while after he was injured.
Guest Insane Bump Machine Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 He always looked kind of old, fat and washed up to me. Maybe I need to see him again in a new light. This guy looks old and washed up? Edit: blah, too late
Guest Anglesault Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Didn't Johnny the Bull injure himself, come back, get injured again right away, WWF bought WCW and Johnny got injured AGAIN? Is the man worth it?
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 I know he broke his pelvis in a match in WCW (and finished the match - he looked like he was dying), but other than that, I don't know his injury record.
Guest crandamaniac Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 I think he hurt himself in a match w/ Kwee-Wee, but i'm not sure the specifics
Guest Perfect_Bo Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 He also broke his ankle in a match with some fruity dude... I think his name was sparkle or something... Sparkle did a Monkey toss and threw him too hard and Bull broke his ankle trying to decide whether he had the chance to land on his feet. Sparkly quickly covered him after that...
Guest Anglesault Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 He also hurt like his hand or something right after WWF bought WCW.The man has been on the DL more often than not.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 Don't worry, Angle won't be jobbing to him.
Guest Anglesault Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 If they call anyone up, it should be Eric Angle so he and Kurt can fight for the Tag titles while there is nothing for him to do in the Main events. Although I think Eric is injury prone as well.
Guest Mattdotcom Posted June 25, 2002 Report Posted June 25, 2002 The Hoss Report said he was almost 100%. If Angle wins the tag titles, he'll have held the WCW/WWF World titles, WWF IC, WCW US, WWF European, Hardcore, and Tag titles...sweet. Oh, and a gold medal! And King of the Ring! He'll need a new t-shirt.
