Something Kind Of Funny.

You know, over the past couple of years, they have pimped Jeff Hardy as "The master of the ladder match" and other such nonsense. That got me to thinking: is there anyone currently in the WWF that has lost more ladder matches than Jeff Hardy? From my memory, Jeff Has won:

1) No Mercy '99

2) Raw after Unforgiven '00

And he has lost

1) Triangle Ladder match at Wrestlemania

2) TLC

3) TLC 2

4) TLC 3

5) Summerslam '01

and Most likely

6) Next week's Raw.

How much longer can they pimp a guy as the master of a match and never let him win it? :) This is worse than when they called Kane the "Master of the Inferno match."

...and when they called Rock the master of the strap match, even though he was only in one and lost it (Thanks to BILLY GUNN~!)

When did Rock face Billy Gunn in a strap match?

I thought the only Strap Match Rock was in was against Hunter at Fully Loaded 99...

I was thinking about Jeff Hardy always being called the master of the ladder match too and I agree, why the hell is he the master of a ladder match? Just because he takes one out from the ring whenever he has the opportunity to doesn't mean he's the master. I guess WWE's definition of being the master of a match is just how many you competed in compared to others.

Rock has lost two strap matches (Both to HHH) Gunn interfered in the first one, Bulldog in the 2nd

just because you don't win alot of Ladder matches doesn't mean you can't master them. Oh wait, yes it does.. :)

Rock was also in a strap match against Al Snow in late '99/early '00 and lost.

Gotta love Russo and his wacky names for already established matches...

When HHH had to wrestle 5 matches in one night or something like that he had Kane in an inferno match.

JR: "That's Kane's specialty!"

Even though Kane had ONE inferno match at that time...and lost it...and his record now is 0-2 or 0-3

Maybe being the master of a match means that you get your ass handed to you on a silver platter in that match. There is no other explanation.

Kane has actually lost TWO Inferno matches (To the Taker) at that point.

Getting back onto the topic at hand, I wouldn't be suprised if they teased a Jeff Hardy win just to contradict Undertaker's cocky-swagger-like heel Champion persona. It could be productive if you have a series of midcarders face Undertaker for the title, tiring him out match by match, and softening him up enough for RVD to go over the experienced Taker......

I doubt that even happens now that the idiots of writers made Suck Lesnar the King of the Ring. I'm not too sure how they could involve RVD and Taker again, seeing as RVD and Lesnar are having a mini-feud and Taker will need to lose the Title to Rocky before storylines move on. Jumping from Rocky to RVD would be a little awkward and the SS match wouldn't have near the emotion or build to make it worth a damn, IMO.

i have something even funnier, Brock is the King of the Ring, yet he is unover, green, and really just flat out heatless
