Thank God. I like Mark Waid, but I thought Birthright was stupid, and tried too hard to integrate the Smallville stuff.

Well, Superman and the Legion told us this. Actually, looking back, Infinite Crisis #6 told us this.

Exactly. Geoff knows how to keep the iconic elements of a character while adding interesting twists and turns to their previously familiar background. Did it with Green Lantern, and now with a character that needed a revamp ever since IC.

I always liked the Byrne reboot/Movies/Smallville concept of Clark as a teen, where he had a lot of the powers and had adventures and stuff, but didn't wear a Superboy costume. But then, that completely F's up the Legion.

 

I there no longer a legal issue with Superboy? I noticed he's back to being called SuperBOY Prime in Legion of 3 Worlds now too.
