Guest Creepy Crawl Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 I just found this board and it seems to be pretty cool so far . There are a bunch of different opinions and thats what you need . I was just wondering what all of you guys think of HHH ? I used to think he was alright but now his character is so boring and predictable its horrible . What do ya'll think of this guy ? I was just wanting to get the overall feeling of this boards opinion on him .
Guest CanadianChick Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 if you go into the majority of threads, it is pretty obvious that a lot of people hate HHH.
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 Hoo boy this is asking for trouble. But anyway: I don't really care for him. Even when he was a 'workrate God' in 2000, I didn't like him. This stems back from when he was in DX and being the huge Rock and Bret mark that I am, just hated the guy's guts. He adds nothing to the product, IMO and is just kind of there to me these days. There ya go.
Guest Steve J. Rogers Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 Oh dear God, I don't think you are prepared for the flames pal. Next time, do a read through of all threads before posting. Now asking what everyone thinks of someone like say Jamie Noble, you might get some comments either way I mean there is a HHHaters club here, what does THAT tell you about the majority opinion of Paul Levesque around these parts Steve
Guest What?! Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 Go To "No Holds Barred" and you'll find a whole thread pinned just for HHH Bashing. So I guess you can make your own conclusion there.
Guest Ripper Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 I think I speak for everyone on the board when I say that HHH is not only a great performer as a face and as a heel, but one heck of a guy, always looking to make his fellow competetors dreams come true and be on top.
Guest joshicho Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 I liked Triple H in 2000. He was the man that constantly had the show stealers. But since his injury, he seems to be a lot more shittier. Interviews arent a strong point either.
Guest CanadianChick Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 Oh yeah, and he is ALWAYS willing to put other wrestlers over and he DOES NOT concern himself with petty politics, right?
Guest Vern Gagne Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 One young man HHH has really taken under his wing is Chris Jericho.
Guest buffybeast Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 Always puts the business as well as his fellow wrestler ahead of himself. Also, HHH is known for being the most approachable and friendly superstars in the whole company. He spends hours and hours just signing autographs for us fans.
Guest jester Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 I was just wondering what all of you guys think of HHH ? Oh man, you have no idea what you've opened up. Ask the board if they think Brock and RVD are being handled properly next. jester PS: "I...am....no...damn....good...."
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 And even though he's banging the head writer, he never uses his position and influence to detract other wrestlers and always puts the company ahead of his own personal wants.
Guest What?! Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 I like how he keeps his professional and personal life completely seperate. And he's a good influence to the kids unlike the other wrestlers. While they drink beer, HHH drinks WATER~!

Guest Raven_Effect01 Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 I think I speak for everyone on the board when I say that HHH is not only a great performer as a face and as a heel, but one heck of a guy, always looking to make his fellow competetors dreams come true and be on top. You've gotta be kidding me!
Guest Trivia247 Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 HHH also Is friendly to little kids and is a Lover of Animals... the people of Nepal call him "Cantant tee" He is who is loved by all animals and as such he loveth them back
Guest dreamer420 Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 i like hhh. he gets a really bad rap on this board, but it is just a lot of crap people are making up. his character was much better when he plays a heel but he really needs steph beside him to do that. he is still a great talent, although he did seem a little slower for the first few weeks after returning from his injury.
Guest Vern Gagne Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 <<Ask the board if they think Brock and RVD are being handled properly next.<< A true superstar, X-Pac was right when he said RVD is sloppy and hasn't adopted the WWE style very well. Brock is big and since Mr.McMahon says big sells than it's true.
Guest Prince Paul Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 How about a thread on "why we think hogan should regain the wwe title?" HHH of 2000 had some really good matches, cut some good promos and really looked like he could be the new "man" in the fed. Now, he's a shell of his former self. I only envy him for hitting that nice piece of ass, Stephanie McMahon. His matches are horrid, he's no good as a face and it doesn't seem like he enjoys elevating new talent, to say the least.
Guest HHH's 'Roid Needle Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 HHH is more boring than church.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 he is still a great talent, although he did seem a little slower for the first few weeks after returning from his injury. If the first few weeks mean the last 6 months, then I agree.
Guest Creepy Crawl Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 I pretty much don't have a lot of time to even get on the CPU because I work offshore . I am hardly ever inland. I ran across this board and when I got registered I had to go back out . Now that I have looked at some of the other topics I can now see that HHH is a hated man . I just think that he was a lot better as a heel , and as someone said previously he just seems stale to me since his return . He needs a heeel turn to make him even slightyly interesting .
Guest Anglesault Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 He needs to drop thirty founds and improve his ring work.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 I think I'll try to be one of the serious guys to respond to this... Like the former Smarky3, I've never really liked Trips at all, even during his glory period in 2000. Now that he's a boring face, a lame interview, and a walking cripple, I just want the poor bastard to take some time off to heal up(like he's kinda doing now) and maybe turn heel to incorporate some life into the persona just so his segments won't be horrid abortions of TV time.
