Guest alfdogg Posted June 27, 2002 Report Posted June 27, 2002 In the latest issue of RAW magazine (Torrie on the cover), There is an interview with Jerry Lawler. The Honky Tonk Man is brought up, and there is a conversation he recalls that I feel needs to be shared. First, King talks about how Honky was blasting him on his website, and how they talked at the 2001 Royal Rumble like they were old buddies and the internet comments weren't even brought up. Then he says the comments commenced after that, and he finally e-mailed and asked him what the deal was. Here was Honky's response: "This is business, King! I'm trying to start the first-ever internet angle! This could be huge! You don't realize how many hits my website gets! Answer me back, and they'll book us on every indy show in the world, and it will draw huge!" King says he never even acknowledged him after that. Just something I wanted your opinions on. EDIT: He also pointed out that his women have to be under 30.
Guest GenerationNever Posted June 27, 2002 Report Posted June 27, 2002 He also pointed out that his women have to be under 30. You sure he didn't mean under twenty?
Guest Perfect Plex Posted June 27, 2002 Report Posted June 27, 2002 I'm still struggling with the image of Honky Tonk using a computer. I thought people like that were burned at the stake in Tennessee.
Guest jester Posted June 27, 2002 Report Posted June 27, 2002 King says he never even acknowledged him after that. My reaction: King said something othen than "Puppies!" in a voice like a castrated chipmunk? Impressive. jester
Guest mach7 Posted June 27, 2002 Report Posted June 27, 2002 He also pointed out that his women have to be under 30. You sure he didn't mean under twenty? I think what he actually meant was 13..
Guest Austin3164life Posted June 27, 2002 Report Posted June 27, 2002 I'm still struggling with the image of Honky Tonk using a computer. I thought people like that were burned at the stake in Tennessee. Hahahaha, I was thinking the same damn thing. I think of Honky and I think of a poor farmer playing his guitar in ol' Alabama. Now I hear he's trying to work a huge angle on the internet. Funny as hell.....
Guest Cataclysm911 Posted June 27, 2002 Report Posted June 27, 2002 He also pointed out that his women have to be under 30. You sure he didn't mean under twenty? The Kat was the one of the hottest women to grace the WWF, ever. So, I don't taunt Jerry Lawler, I envy him. He hit that shit raw <-- Pun. HTM just wants to shine one more time in the spotlight, he probably was either lying through his teeth, or was picking on Lawler thinking that he would go for it and the two would work together well. Either way, HTM is at the bottom of the barrel.
Guest Human Fly Posted June 27, 2002 Report Posted June 27, 2002 How old was the Kat? I know she wasn't as old as Lawler, but she didn't seem she was right out of high school either. I would've guessed mid-30s
Guest Sandman9000 Posted June 27, 2002 Report Posted June 27, 2002 Low to mid 20's. King ain't touchin anything that is more then half his age.
Guest Perfect Plex Posted June 27, 2002 Report Posted June 27, 2002 You guys are saying it like its a bad thing to want to fuck 20 year olds
Guest papacita Posted June 29, 2002 Report Posted June 29, 2002 King said they met when she was 19, and they were together for 12 years. Being the mathematical genius that I am, keeping in mind that it's been about a year since the split, and adding 13 years onto the Kat's 19...I have deduced that right now, in June 2002...the Kat was at least 47 years old. *ahem*
