Honestly, would this be such a bad idea? They're trying to push the younger guys, and what better way than to have Jeff go over Taker in the ladder match. Have Jeff barely get past all comers until Vengeance, when he's beaten by Angle or someone. Jeff would get over as a much more major player, and I think the crowd would get into it. People would watch every show to see if this is Jeff's last defense of the title or not. Anyone agree?

Actually, I couldn't aggree with you any less. Put the belt on younger guys? Sure, I agree with that. But I'd rather have Matt Hardy win the gold, than Jeff. He's just not fit to carry that title. You want to experiment with him, then give him the Euro title or something. Take the ladders and cages away from Jeff,and he's pretty much exposed. Tell him to work a mat based match, and you're fucked.
