How come no one likes Harcore Holly?

Hardcore Holly Rules! How can anyone not like the awesome dropkick and his funny personality! I think Hardcore should get a big push and start a tag team with either Test! Also, Hardcore should at least be the Intercontinental Champ for the first time and have the tag team title with Test.

The only times I ever liked Hardcore is when he was the Big Shot and when he was a superheavyweight. Since then I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire.

I like Hardcore. I thought his whole Big Shot gimmick back in 99 was funny as hell. If they didn't pair him with Crash, I think he could've had a good singles run.

Actually, that reign as Spark Plugg never counted. The decision was reversed after the match, the title was vacated and put up in a rematch on the next week's Action Zone, which Jarrett won.

Damnit! I saw the Rematch and I could swear that Bob Holly came to the ring with the belt. It was only like a Week long title reign. I think Jarrett put him over for the title in Holly's Home Town.

Nah, immediately after the 1st match, Jarrett complained to Jack Tunney or someone about how his foot was on the ropes when Holly made the cover (or something like that), and they took the belt away from Holly at the end of the show, but wouldn't give it back to Jarrett either. They never recognized it as an official title reign, and Jarrett beat him to become 2 time champ the next week.

 

They did a similar thing w/ Goldust and Savio Vega a year later when Savio hit Goldust with the I-C Title to "win the belt", but the decision was reversed and the title was held up a week later, which is how Goldust became 2 time I-C Champion.

 

And for the record, Chyna is a 3 TIME I-C Champion...*ahem* I'm just saying! Go about your biz! BYE!

Holly really isn't that bad. He's proven that he's pretty great in the ring when matched with the right guy and to me, if you're attitude is good, you're a decent worker, and you can get respectable heat (which he can) then you're a worthwhile addition

 

But Don't tell that to Anglesault... see, he feels that Holly injured DDP on purpose and is out to injure more people

Holly is a real hard worker, but like msot midcarders on Smackdown! he's stuck without any direction...

 

It seems to me that if you want to be a main eventer, go to Smackdown!, and if you're a midcarder, go to RAW, because that's where those two things tend to succeed.

 

I'm starting to lose faith in Heyman, by the way, if he really is the writer of Smackdown!, because the booking and the storylines on that show have been crap lately, and I know Heyman is capable of far more than that. Anyone remember 2000 WWF?

I didn't really dislike the Holly/Venis team-they are miles better than Billy/Chuck.

The Big Shot gimmick was the best of Bob's career. The looks he used to get from Taker, Kane and Show...they'd roll their eyes like he was crazy. And no, he shouldn't team with Test for gods sake.
