Guest AM The Kid Posted June 30, 2002 Report Posted June 30, 2002 Rock is a much better heel, he tries a whole lot harder in the ring and his promos aren't so damn repetitive. I was a fan of heel Rock, face Rock just plain sucks. Bring back the 300 dollar shirts, sunglasses and smug look.

Guest godthedog Posted July 1, 2002 Report Posted July 1, 2002 my theory is that the best guys, when they're heels, have to work that much harder to keep the fans from cheering them (which they're naturally inclined to do, because they're so good), so they're at their best as heels. see: 98/99 rock 01 austin 00 triple h (he was really towing a fine line, back in the day it seemed he was always on the verge of receiving more cheers than boos) angle is kind of an oddity, since he's best as a heel and never seems to be in danger of being cheered.

However i mark out for anything bad ass and evil, so I'm a little biased. If you wanna do that again, give someone else the push he got, which will never happen with the trading of wins that goes on today. Rock is better as a heel, but if he's only going to be back full-time, they should keep him face just to keep the fans happy, because WWE is lacking any big time faces currently.
