I especially "love" his idea of Jeff Hardy defending the Undisputed World Title against the likes of The Big Show, Hardcore Holly, and Test, that sounds like mother f*cking ratings right there folks! Anyhow, here ya go... "Imagine if WWE put Jeff Hardy over for the Undisputed Championship tonight in his ladder match against Undertaker? I know, it's never going to happen, but how shocked would you be if it actually did? I know my jaw would drop to the floor if he won the title tonight. I know I'd be calling people saying, "Did you see what WWE just did?" It would get people talking. Would it translate into an increase in the ratings or house show attendance? Probably not, but it would get people talking. Talk is good. Brock Lesnar is being groomed to be the monster heel of the company and already has a title shot against the champion at SummerSlam. Lesnar is still so early into his career that matches against Undertaker, HHH, or Rock seem way too soon. What if they did the old 1-2-3 Kid gimmick with Jeff Hardy, but multiplied it by a hundred? Never before has WWE presented us with an underdog champion that could and should lose his title every defense. For the next two months it would be fun watching Jeff Hardy always somehow retain his title. Then at Summerslam he meets up with the next big thing. The title has switched hands way too many times this year already. I can't see Taker taking on Lesnar at Summerslam, so a babyface is going to have to beat Taker for the title between now and then. I can't see WWE putting the title on HHH or Rock for just one month and then dropping it to Lesnar, if Lesnar winning the title is the actual plan. This entire column today is being written with the idea that Lesnar is getting the title at Summerslam. I can't see them not giving it to him. He's running with the monster push right now and I don't think it's going to stop anytime soon. If the first match he loses is his first shot at the title, his monster push gets thrown right out the window. WWE has to build for its future, and their future is no doubt Brock Lesnar. So if Lesnar is going over at Summerslam, Lesnar vs Taker just doesn't make sense. Rock or HHH aren't going to hold the title for less than a month. If Jeff Hardy won the title tonight, I can guarantee you that he'll become a hundred times more popular than he already is. I'd then have Jeff Hardy defend the title on every Raw and Smackdown until Summerslam. I'd have Hardy retain the title against Hardcore Holly, Test, Big Show, X-Pac, Christian, Lance Storm, D-Von, Eddie Guerrero, and a July PPV victory over Chris Jericho. Hardy could then be on a hot winning streak and is then soundly defeated by Lesnar at Summerslam. Putting Hardy over for the title tonight would do a couple things. It would change up the storylines, it would make the Undisputed Championship fun to follow, it would elevate an over young babyface to the top of the company, it would elevate guys that were on the same level as him getting title matches against him, and it would set-up the passing of the torch to the next big thing in the WWE, Brock Lesnar. I know some of you right now are saying, "How in the hell could Tommy be writing this? Jeff Hardy is a cruiserweight at best, how the hell could he be the the champion?" It's called taking a chance. What do they have to lose? The title barely means anything right now anyway. Having a young 24 year old kid upsetting Undertaker for it on national TV would get people talking. Talk about shock TV, there's your shock TV right there. Will it happen? Of course not. Would it be fun to watch underdog Jeff Hardy always somehow retain the title? Yes, I think so. Is this his explanation for having Jeff defend against Holly, Show, and Test? If anything it takes the Undisputed World Title DOWN to THEIR leval, making it look like it is less than the IC strap, or even the Euro title, I mean... ...what the hell?

I admire tommy for at least trying to come up with new and exciting angles. But honestly, can anyone see the summer championship run of 2002 by Jeff Hardy?
