Guest Austin3164life Posted July 1, 2002 Report Posted July 1, 2002 WWE polls are usually rigged. I remember for Backlash, the most interesting match on Backlash (according to the WWF polls) was Scott Hall vs. Bradshaw........
Guest SuperTonyJaymz Posted July 1, 2002 Report Posted July 1, 2002 I voted for Jeff 3 times. Go Jeff, woo!
Guest Prince Paul Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 I voted for Jeff 3 times. Go Jeff, woo! Uh.....what? Come again boy?
Guest SuperTonyJaymz Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 I'm ahardy fan. It may be bad for business, but I want jeff to win.
Guest TheHulkster Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Having Jeff Hardy be WWE champion for 3 days isn't going to hurt the WWE championship any more than it already has been from Taker's poor drawing, heatless reign at the top, and hell, if they bust out a good enough match, a new star will be born. He may not be a smark favorite, but who gives a shit, he's over and he's pretty talented in the ring. Besides, they need something to spice TV up and get people talking.
Guest RetroRob215 Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Hulkster, you are right. I agree 100%.
Guest Respect The 'Taker Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Having Jeff Hardy be WWE champion for 3 days isn't going to hurt the WWE championship any more than it already has been from Taker's poor drawing, heatless reign at the top, and hell, if they bust out a good enough match, a new star will be born. Ahhh...right Taker - World Champion for eternity, GO MARK! GO MARK! GO MARK! This has been the Taker Mark
Guest TheSmarkzone Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 They're not rigged, people just vote for stupid shit to amuse themselves. I remember K-Kwik once won a poll for next WWE champ or rookie of the year or something.
Guest J*ingus Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 But WW(F)E.com polls always come out ridiculously close. When it's just two choices, it usually ends up being 50.4% and 49.6%. And Bradshaw-Hall won Match of the Night at Backlash, while Lesnar-Test won it for KOTR. And you're telling me that those polls are real?
Guest TheSmarkzone Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 And Bradshaw-Hall won Match of the Night at Backlash, while Lesnar-Test won it for KOTR. And you're telling me that those polls are real? First off, WWE.com is a mark site. The people voting aren't like, "Oh my Gawd! RVD vs. Jericho was like soo totally puro, dude! **** 3/4!" Secondly, in case your hearing ain't so good, the fans were more into Brock vs. Test than any other match on the card, with the possible exception of RVD vs. Y2J. Whether you like it or not, that's what happened. And whether you like it or not, Test vs. Brock was GOOD. No, not MOTY good, but I'd give it a solid ** 1/2 - ** 3/4. Don't let your hatred for Test (Or is it Brock?) lead to a bad case of Good Match Denial. It's an ugly disease. So yeah, I'm telling you the polls are real. What would the WWE gain by rigging the polls so that Scott Hall vs. Bradshaw won Match of the Night? They weren't even pushing either of them.
Guest M Nyland Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 VIVA LA PERFECTION~! is spreading into Tony's sig....I've created a catchphrase!
Guest BionicRedneck Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 "Secondly, in case your hearing ain't so good, the fans were more into Brock vs. Test than any other match on the card, with the possible exception of RVD vs. Y2J. They were also into Angle/Hogan more too.

Wouldn't want someone with a difference of opinion, would we?
