Over at Wrestling-Titans.com, we nominated whoever we thought was the most improved wrestler by the mid-year of 2002, from January 1st to Juen 30th. Hey, my nomination of RVD didn't get put in, as they're an entirely different bunch of smarks over there (the kind that don't overanalyze the product, just discuss it), so here's the nominations that did get put in. I felt like bringing the poll over here, just for the hell of it.

None of the above. Those people either suck ass now, or are Eddy, who I don't think is exactly any better than he usually is.

My vote: Trish.

Trish, sadly is the most improved worker in the WWF.

I'll say Trish too...maybe Goldust closly following

Holly's down from where he was in 2000 and 2001.

Eddy's always been great...he's just been gone a while.

I liked Edge better with Christian.

Test is still...well, Test.

HHH was better in 2001

It has to be Trish, as I can't think of anyone else who's actually improved greatly over the last year.

I didn't agree with any of the nominations either. Hell, I bitched on and on as to why Trish and RVD are the only ones that actually improved noticeably, especially Trish...

But then I voted for Maven out of those 8, simply because he's a rookie and he HAS improved, just because he's the only one that could.

FYI, everybody voted for Edge or Holly at W-T.

Def Trish-who would've ever thought womens matches would be a hilight on RAW?

As much as I don't want to admit it, I would have to agree with Anglesault. None of the wrestlers mentioned above have really improved as to earn them attention. I'm suprised Eddy hasn't become the Eddy we all know. Of course, he's still a great worker, but I don't think he's showing his true skill (much like most good workers in the WWE).......

yup, its Trish for me too.

Test is worthless in every department.

Maven is still really green.

HHH is down from his peak in 2000.

Holly has always been the same.

Edge has always been good and Christian has always been a better all-rounder than Edge IMO so no real improvement.

Eddie has always been one of the best in the world

Hurricane does not "suck ass". He's restricted w/ what he can do by the dreaded "WWE Style"™, but to say he "sucks ass" is ridiculous.

My vote would go to Trish, as well.

Okay, due to constraints, he is putting on boring snoozefests. Better?

I voted for Eddy because for once I actually see him as a main event possibility. Too bad Stone Cold left before he could elevate him further. This beats the Latino Heat phaze where he was feuding with Chyna and cruising his lowrider.

I also agree Trish deserves it.

He's had some really solid Cruiser tags, and Vs. Noble was probably at about **3/4, which isn't bad at all. There are certainly worse matches taking place both up and down the card these days.

Trish gets my vote, too. At the same time, though, she's shown potential ever since she carried Stephanie to a decent at NWO last year, so I'm a little skeptical if she always had the ability but was stuck making out with Vince all year instead of developing it further.

I think that Test is the most improved wrestler according to this list.

Lucky bastards...

anyways, in my eyes, the last mid year has really made me notice RVd and become a fan of him, so personally, its RVD.

But from the list of yours I'd say Maven.

i'm going to vote for my girl trish but an honorable mention should go to the hurricane. a year ago he was a wcw wrestler with a crappy gimmick, but now he has been cruiserweight champions, he is constantly over with the fans, and his matches are always good.

trish has still made the most improvement from the t & a manager she used to be to now being the top female in the company. i hope she doesn't catch a case of sable-itis though and personally destroy her own career.

What match? Oh, wait are you talking about that really shitty KotR match that consisted almost soley of missed punches and restholds?

I voted for edge because he DID improve a lot during the feud with Angle. His character also developed into a more serious direction which is good.

When? ???

What the hell?

i thought it was about *** and that was about it. i know that noble would have had some serious butterflies before the match but I thought it failed to deliver too. with the buildup, and all the vignettes spent on this big match I expected more.

No, my point is that Edge really isn't anybetter than he was last december, and he isn't SLIGHTLY srious.

Yes, and I agree with you about him *crosses fingers for title change tonight* :)

yeah, 'Sault was right in the first place. Hurricane and Eddie have always been good, they just got mini pushes (and I mean mini) so they seem better.

Edge is also about the same, he's just been elevated by "Flair 2000" Kurt Angle.

as for the other guys, they still suck, so any improvement is obviously small.

I would like to say that the fact Trish wins this award is very, very sad.

PS: why does everyone think RVD improved by leaps and bounds? Don't get me wrong, I love RVD, but he's been using the same style of matches since the end of last year. Somehow he went from "spot machine" to "telling a story" without changing anything. weirdos.

I chose RVd because I became a fan of his in this time, so in my eyes, he improved.
