Guest Kojack Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Right now the three that stick out the most is 1)Booker T and Gold Dust 2) Kurt Angle and Austin 3) And the Rock and Sock Connection (Rock and Foley) Those were the best. I really enjoy Gold Dust dressing as other people in costumes. And Austin and Angle had that hilarious cowboy hat skit. I really want that little buckaroo angle hat. But to me the rock and sock connection was the funniest and the most funniest moment was when The Rock was talking about the Stanley cup and then Foley came out and to my memory said " I don't know who this Stanley is but heres a cup" And foley handed Ropck a Jock Strap. This strated cause the 99 Stanley cup Champs, The Dallas Stars were int he front row.
Guest What?! Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 "Okay, one more thing, please wait. If you...would just allow me to have a drink of your Slurpee, I'll give you...a bite of my wiener." 'Nuff Said SUUUUUCCCCKKKKKAAAAAAA!!!!
Guest LesnarLunatic Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Edge and Christian were pretty good also..
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Of those 3: 1) Angle/Austin 2) Booker/Goldust 3) Rock/Foley
Guest M Nyland Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 well if BookDust continues the way they have been going then they are contenders... now if only Goldust will put on a cowboy hat and sing.......
Guest dreamer420 Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 1. rock/foley 2. booker/goldust 3. austin/angle
Guest BionicRedneck Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Austin and Angle easy. The cowbow hats and guitar skits were pure gold.
Guest KANE Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Was Rock/Foley really that funny? I remember thinking it was horrible.
Guest Steviekick Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Your neglecting some ofther funny pairings like... Blue Meanie/Stevie Richards Sinister Minister/Mikey Whipwreck/Tajiri Tekno Team 2000
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Bookerdust, simply for the reason that Angle and Austin weren't together very long. I didn't really find Rock 'n Sock that funny except for a couple vignettes.
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Shawn Michaels and HHH did some really funny shit as part of DX.
Guest Mattdotcom Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Everyone I enjoy has been mentioned. But I honestly can't remember how Hollywood Heat got together. Everything pre-711 (which is my birthday) is fuzzy to me.
Guest Choken One Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 If I recall...Booker needed a Partner for a tag match and Goldust entered the dressing room and hit on him.
Guest Austin3164life Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Easily Angle and Austin trying to earn Vince's attention was the funniest duo angle. I'll never forget "Iiiiii am the Champioonnnn, my frieeeennnd..." from Austin while Vince is holding his head. Then when Angle started he was like "Jimmy cracked corn and I don't caaareee......I got Olympic gold.....". Those two were hilarious during that time period..... "I got you guys some badges, Steve"-Angle "Are you kidding me??!"-Austin "Um....no"-Angle "WE DON'T NEED NO STINKIN' BADGES!"-Austin
Guest Anglesault Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Everyone I enjoy has been mentioned. But I honestly can't remember how Hollywood Heat got together. Everything pre-711 (which is my birthday) is fuzzy to me. Goldust blew Booker's shot at the hardcore title one week, and the next week, Goldust asked to team with him.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 2) Kurt Angle and Austin That's IT? You forgot: Kurt Angle & Booker T ("Crisp & clean with no caffeine, bro!") Kurt, Edge, Christian (Team ECK)
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Shawn Michaels and HHH did some really funny shit as part of DX. DX "Part 2" After Michaels, had some funny stuff too. Don't forget Heenan and Monsoon on Primetime.
Guest claydude14 Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 book-dust rule. theres been so many classic stuff with them. booker t and goldust at the movies aka the scorpion king review, 711, nWo-dust, the lumberjack song, crock hunter, vader... and im sure i even left out some.
Guest Singular Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Angle and Austin were hystarical. The hugging Vince contest was absolute gold. The cowboy hats, and Angle's expression of joy, when he puts his on was one of my all time favorite skits. Can anyone remember anytime that someone involved in a skit broke out in laughter during a live broadcast?
Guest endgame722 Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 1) Rock 'n Sock 2) Edge and Christian 3) DX (v.1)
Guest -Cutthroat- Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 No doubt... 1) Booker T and Golddst 2) Kurt Angle and Steve Austin 3) Rockn' Sock Connection
Guest art_vandelay Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 a few forgotten duos: Al Snow/Steve Blackman (Head-Cheese) Regal/Tajiri Hulk Hogan/motorcyle
Guest DrEvil Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Hero/Jackass That was a funny skit but it could have so much better if they pulled the old Daffy Duck/Bugs Bunny trick Austin: Jackass Angle: Hero Austin: Jackass Angle: Hero Austin: Jackass Angle: Hero Austin: Hero Angle: Jackass Austin: HAAAAAA! I really like the Booker-Dust combo. Booker T is a great tough guy, straight man, to Goldust's off the wall shenanigans.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Can anyone remember anytime that someone involved in a skit broke out in laughter during a live broadcast? Austin laughing "I feel like CRAP!" When Foley got Rock with "IT DOESN'T MATTER!" Then did the run around the ring. Rock was laughing.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Austin & Pillman deserve mention on this list as well.
Guest saturnmark4life Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 Regal/tajiri BookerDust angle/austin are all awesome, it's a shame foley left when he did cos him and regal could have done great stuff as the dueling commissioners.
Guest BigTim2002 Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 I think the greatest was when Austin and Angle were fighting over who Vince liked more, so they...HUGGED~! him!
