Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted July 3, 2002 Report Posted July 3, 2002 Is this like another ATTITUDE, DESIRE, or INTENSITY thing? Why are the announcers and McMahon putting over the quote so much?
Guest jimmy no nose Posted July 3, 2002 Report Posted July 3, 2002 I guess it's like the crappy version of Attitude.
Guest Nezbyte Posted July 3, 2002 Report Posted July 3, 2002 Because it's the first thing the writers though of on their own.
Guest LesnarLunatic Posted July 3, 2002 Report Posted July 3, 2002 because you have to be ruthlessly aggressive to understand ruthless aggression, bah god!
Guest Mattdotcom Posted July 3, 2002 Report Posted July 3, 2002 It's more like "Wreckless Abandonment", as the writers and McMahon are doing anything and everything for no reason but to attempt to pull a rating.
Guest caboose Posted July 3, 2002 Report Posted July 3, 2002 Why couldn't they just stick with desire? Because it didn't catch on after a week, so the Vince did the most WCW thing he could do, and claim a change of direction.
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 But do we really need the word "Ruthless" in there? "Agression" by itself would make a suitable slogan.
Guest Dangerous A Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Couldn't have said it better myself, Mr. Ho!
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Brock would kick her ass, he has Roofless Agression
Guest EricMM Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Does ANYONE else think this sounds like, oh I dunno, a MIDEAST CAMPAIGN!? Operation Infinate Justice, Enduring Freedom, and Ruthless Agression!!! BTW they're all stupid names. -Eric
Guest M Nyland Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 I thought Brock had HEATLESS AGRESSION! Angle hais Hairless Agression (I'm still and always an Angle Mark!) Jericho and Angle together have Pushless Agression(see below) HHH has Ruth-uh-less Agression
Guest Shaved Bear Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 But do we really need the word "Ruthless" in there? "Agression" by itself would make a suitable slogan. they had an album a few years back called aggression, marks would be confused
Guest M Nyland Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 they had an album a few years back called aggression, marks would be confused as long as I don't have to suffer through any "Ruthless Rapping" I'll be fine....
Guest The Tino Standard Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 For starters, the word is "aggression," not "agression." And No. 2, I thought "Operation Infinite Justice" was pretty damn cool. I mean, if I knew the government was coming after me for something I'd done, and they'd be using a plan called "Operation Infinite Justice," I think I'd be saying "Oh shit."
Guest papacita Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 This Ruthless Aggression thing just seems to be the typical overly pushed McMahon phrase that usually comes around this time of year. Like..."In the interest of fairness" Or..."Not tonight...not any night" Or..."Joe Cool" and "Genetic Jackhammer" or whatever other dumb shit he said in 2000. Hopefully by SummerSlam this ruthless aggression thing will all be forgotten. Edit: FOUND MY LEXICON!
Guest phoenixrising Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Infinite Justice means the government just pushes the red button - kill em all and sort them out later.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 20 bucks says Stacy starts referring to Vince as "Operation Anaconda"
Guest M Nyland Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 20 bucks says Stacy starts referring to Vince as "Operation Anaconda" nah.... "Operation Channel Changer"
Guest NoCalMike Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Maybe instead of Ruthless Agression, McMahon just wanted to get Rufus's Attention. So he keeps having wrestlers repeat this until Rufus answers his calls...Just a thought
Guest Trivia247 Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Once a new Catchphrase starts it first comes from a big name, which is then Echoed by JR and The King, and Later on Michael Cole, being the little Yappy Shillmaster of JR that he is Repeats it 5 times a match while he is talking about the Main event throughout the Night then it fliters down to the next Disgrace of Commentating and also Black belt in Shill Fu The Coach and after a week every person will have it rattling in their heads until the next one.
Guest Flyboy Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Maybe they came up with it because they ran out of ideas for t-shirt sells.
Guest papacita Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Maybe they came up with it because they ran out of ideas for t-shirt sells. If that's the case, we could always use re-prints of those Va-Chyna t-shirts. Those things sold more than a crack dealer at a Wrestling Vixxxens meeting.
Guest M Nyland Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Maybe they came up with it because they ran out of ideas for t-shirt sells. <sarcasm>they could have just made another HHH shirt</sarcasm>

Nah... just put a picture of Dawn's Marie face on the front of it, and put a picture of her great ass in the back of it. Instant success.
