Guest TheSoleSurvivor Posted July 3, 2002 Report Posted July 3, 2002 Well, as we can plainly see, the WWE has brought in a horde of new faces, and apparently they'll just keep on coming throughout the next few weeks. Of these, who do you think will be the most likely to succeed and become a "true superstar"? John Cena Brock Lesnar Deacon Batista Jamie Knoble Bradshaw Sean 'O-Haire (I know he's not exactly *NEW*, but he was barely on TV) Johnny the Bull The Undertaker Chris Nowinski Obviously, Brock is getting the push, but I've always LOVED John "the Prototype" Cena. He has done some great promo stuff from what I have seen, and is very good and energetic in the ring. Is a SPITTING DAMN image of sting, from his style to that energy he has. I pick Cena.
Guest mach7 Posted July 3, 2002 Report Posted July 3, 2002 I don't see how Bradshaw & Undertaker are on that list of "new faces".. but Chris Nowinski isnt, and I'd pick him.
Guest TheSoleSurvivor Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 "I don't see how Bradshaw & Undertaker are on that list of "new faces".. but Chris Nowinski isnt, and I'd pick him. " Damn, sorry....it was just a joke! I'll add Nowinski too, can't believe I forgot the sunuvagun. BTW, Lesnar Lunatic.....this is bugging me a bit....why don't you list Brock Lesnar as they guy most likely to succeed?
Guest Dangerous A Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Bautista has a better look than Lesnar IMO. According to reports, Cena is a top 5 mike worker if he gets the oppurtunity. Those are the 2 I'd go with. Barring Lesnar screwing up this current push.
Guest TheSoleSurvivor Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Jeez, AS, don't crap a brick.....I'm on it. See, I TOLD YOU there were too many damn rookies.
Guest razazteca Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Chris Harvard from Raw has JR pimping his football days from college so he will make it.
Guest Downhome Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 It will be none other than The Man Named Cena... ...mark my words, it's showtime folks!
Guest TheSoleSurvivor Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Now, that's just scary. He IS Sting!
Guest LesnarLunatic Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Chris Nowinski just has "The look". He'll go much much further than Maven.
Guest Downhome Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Now, that's just scary. He IS Sting! I told everyone before that he'd look that much more like Sting with the face paint, but nooooooooooooooooo, no one would believe me.
Guest LesnarLunatic Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Chris Nowinski looks like a younger Triple H. He'll probably get roided and become a bigger star later.
Guest Nezbyte Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Cena and Nowinski will go places. As will Leviathan.
Guest TheSoleSurvivor Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Great. Just great. Just what we need, another HHH. Thanks for the pleasant thoughts, LesnarLunatic.
Guest Downhome Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 I prefer to think of Chris HARVARD as a guy who could pull of a Mr. Perfect gimmick much more before a HHH gimmick, but hey, that's just me.
Guest LesnarLunatic Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Chris Nowinski could always be managed by Curt Hennig at some time. "Introducing, the only wrestler in the WWE to graduate from Harvard, from Boston, Massachusetts, Chris Perfect!"
Guest Downhome Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Chris Nowinski could always be managed by Curt Hennig at some time. "Introducing, the only wrestler in the WWE to graduate from Harvard, from Boston, Massachusetts, Chris Perfect!" That sounds oddly catchy and frightening at the same time for some reason.
Guest Will Scarlet Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 I will throw in another vote for Nowinski because I am fast becoming a huge Nowinski mark.
Guest mach7 Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Nowinski, IMO, has more talent in his pinky finger than Maven does in one of his over-rated dropkicks. Chris Harvard will go far. As will John Cena. This guy, is gold in the ring. He's good on the mic (from what I've seen in OVW). Remember the last guy who came in like this? Amazing wrestler. Good talker? KURT ANGLE. Screw the comparison's to Sting, I'm betting that Cena is destined for the push that Angle received when he first came into the WWF.
Guest TheHulkster Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Bautista could be a top guy(He looks like O'Haire on a heavier cycle). Maven is already pretty over, so if he goes on the HHH diet while he's injured, he's there. Lesnar being a top guy is a formality at this point. The man called Cena is as good as main eventing too.
Guest M Nyland Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Nowinski can be Flair and Cena can be Sting....we could have 1989 & 1990 all over again...
Guest evenflowDDT Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 I'm putting in another vote for Harvard Chris because the guy's a natural heel. Everybody hates Harvard.
