It hardly shows up through his music, which is usually black metal screams, but it's definitely there. I'd shit if they came out with an album full of breakdowns. Blast and groove type shit with growls being the predominant vocals. I don't get why black metal bands never use breakdowns in their songs...

Dani has a fucking frightening range and I agree, if they started dirtying up the goth a bit with the death shit I would throw horns like a motherfucker. thats it.

Guest Nevermortal Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 I'd like so state that Cradle of Filth rules the world, twice over, then makes the enslaved masters beg for forgiveness as they begin to rule the world for the third time! Their latest CD (Bitter Suites to Succubi) went a little downhill, but that's expected for a disc full of re-done songs & covers. Although it did have two very good standout tracks (Scorched Earth Erotica & Born in a Burial Gown, not withstanding the super shitty video for the latter). Aside from that, Cradle of Filth has been pretty goddamn good overall. No album by any other band will usurp the title of "Nevermortal's Favorite Album, Ever" from their 1996 CD "Dusk and her Embrace". Slayer's "Reign in Blood" is a close close second. So yeah, get your ass out to the store and buy some fucking Cradle, motherfuckers!

It almost like a Goth/black metal Theater going on rather than just blast beats and screeching vocals.
