Keeling v. Board of Zoning Appeals of City of Indianapolis, 1946, 69 N.E.2d 613, 117 Ind.App. 314; Board of Zoning Appeals of City of Indianapolis v. Waintrup, 1935 193 N.E. 701, 99 Ind.App. 576. Provisions of zoning ordinance authorizing board of zoning appeals of city to grant variances "where there are practical difficulties or unnecessary hardships" or "in general keeping" with uses "existing in neighboring property such as will not be contrary to public interest" blah blah blah... I give up already.... It's from the 2003 Edition of the Indiana Planning and Zoning Law handbook (annotated).

    Let's Talk About...

I liked the thread about X-Factor, and was looking forward to the one for this week... but it never came, so I will initiate one. What did you think of WCW during the year of the monkey, 1992?

    What songs should be banned?

"Smells Like Teen Spirit" Seriously, people. It's over. It's Nirvana's worst song and it should never be played ever again. Also, let's ban every patriotic country song that has ever been recorded, just for good measure. We already have enough of an irrational jingoistic epidemic in this country- let's not encourage the problem by pumping this propaganda into the ears of our stupid, impressionable youth while they are trying to enjoy themselves at the hog-tie competition. Are you with me?

I remember now. Yoko came out and destroyed Tatanka after the match. I miss Ludvig Borga. http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?showtopic=44103

Comments which don't warrant a thread.

I skipped a few pages in this thread (that I assume neglected your contribution) just to ask... did you see it, and how if you did- how were they?

I was just going to suggest that everybody get their older friend to buy porn at the local Super Pantry before they are of age and everything will pan out...

Feuds where both guys turned..... and continued feuding

I suppose, but really- Shelly was more of a desperate asshole who was excommunicated, as opposed to a babyface by proxy. None of the other faces wanted anything to do with him, which is why I never considered him to have been anything other than a heel.

Feuds where both guys turned..... and continued feuding

Fan reaction aside, it still remains that they were turning both Taz and Sabu (and Rob Van Dam for that matter). Huh? There was no double-turn there. The GenBassy were heels going into the feud and coming out of it. Also, in late 1998, didn't Kane and Undertaker do a gradual double-turn (though not at the same moment, as, at one point, they were both heels) just before Kane joined the Corporation and Undertaker formed the Ministry?

Feuds where both guys turned..... and continued feuding

That confusing double-turn with Demolition/Powers of Pain at Survivor Series 1988, and Taz/Sabu double-turn at Barely Legal. I haven't seen much SmackDown lately, but from what I've read it seems as though Palumbo/Noble are both doing a double-turn (this is based only on spoiler reading only, though).

    Let's Talk About...

You're just mad because he killed The Undertaker and ended Tatanka's undefeated streak. It's sort of his fault that Crush turned heel too. Oh yeah, the onus is on xKamala to start this week's topic, so let's hear it.

Stomach Vader? Vader was amazing. And Yokozuna was a very exceptional worker who hid his weaknesses very well. Also, I am glad that Luger never won the WWF Title. Fans just weren't that into him.

    Gas Stations

I have many memories that surround the Bigfoot gas station chain. It really brings me back to my younger years, but for no reason in particular. The friendly sasquatch logo is a big plus, too. Back when I was in elementary school, I used to walk to this gas station a couple of blocks from my house to get candy, and the clerk looked just like Michael P.S. Hayes. I brought it up to him one time, and he actually knew who I was talking about, but he wasn't sure if it was a compliment or not.

Really? I have a love/hate attitude towards the Watts area. I strongly disagreed with his politics, but he booked some very good TV.

Comments that which don't warrant a thread

Did you catch last night's episode of Three's Company? Those are equally as annoying (in a different way) as the original run, where they usually aired back-to-back commercials of the triple-dose slogan spots. I do remember Stephen Colbert poking fun at it a couple of years ago or so...

    The OAO WWE DVD Thread

Surprised to see this match, as Chris Benoit plays a pivotal role in the ending. It's a shame, too, as both Austin and HHH both have had multiple **** plus matches with (or including) Benoit.

Matches that shouldn't have been on free tv

It was a really good match, and it would have headlined a SmackDown-only PPV had there been one between the Survivor Series and the Royal Rumble. Obviously, the only place to showcase the match (as they were trying not to deviate from the hard split that happened earlier in the year) was on SmackDown.
