... and I will continue to work both jobs today... one of which is a city-based institute... fucking Indiana...

1992, for both Ric Flair and Bobby Heenan's performances, respectively. 1996 is a bit of a darkhorse, but I still like it, as it had a lot of my favorite guys. First time all of the entrants came out to their entrance themes too. 2000 had a lot of memorable moments, whether it was Rikishi/Too Cool pausing to dance or Bob Backland's surprise appearance, I enjoyed it.

He was Terrence Taylor when he was a member of the York Foundation. They were supposed to be yuppies, what with guys like Ricky Morton and Tommy Rich changing their names to Richard and Thomas... the only problem was that Ricky still dressed like he was one half of the Rock N' Roll Express.

The 1995 Rumble is the only one that I consider to be bad. I love the '93 Rumble for Backlund's performance, and the 1999 Rumble match... well, I guess I love the Attitude Era too much to not enjoy it, regardless of how stupid/meaningless the outcome was.

Worst Excuse for a Face Turn
PILLS! PILLS! PILLS! replied to zappafrank's topic in General Wrestling
Also, Doink the Clown turning face because... Lawler was mad at him for losing and he dumped a bucket of water on Bobby Heenan. Lame. -
Good answer, but what was worse was having to hear all these internet marks talking about how he was "finally interesting" to them. Ugh.

You just reminded me that I used to work in a seafood deli that was right next door to a pizza place. It's been too long since I've have pizza with shrimp and bay scallops. I still prefer Spinach, mushroom and artichoke hearts.

Worst excuse for a heel turn
PILLS! PILLS! PILLS! replied to Epic Reine's topic in General Wrestling
Something like that... I was really retarded... Let's see... - Hennig's stupid heel turn in 1997 to join the NWO because the Horsemen were "outdated" or something like that... - Rick Rude turning heel in ECW because Shane Douglas offered him a night with Francine... - Rikishi's heel turn in 2000 was unconvincing, and just bad business... Also, wasn't Jake the Snake's heel turn in 1991 loosely based on the fact that he wasn't invited to Randy Savage's bachelor party, or is my memory that cloudy? -

Terribly inaccurate wrestling predictions you made
PILLS! PILLS! PILLS! replied to King Kamala's topic in General Wrestling
I would have much, much rather seen that angle in the WWF. It was build around their "history" of which they avoided to go into detail because it all revolved around their time together in a rival company. And Ed Leslie had no business appearing on a Starrcade card, much less the main event. -
I also like how the commentators abandoned their duties. I think that Jeff should, if nothing else, be Mick Foley circa 1999. Even in brevity, that shit worked. The wrestling fans were hot for it. I think that Jeff is the new Mick Foley (even if not nearly as good as a promo as Mick is). He is the undercard guy that everybody is very much behind.
-
No. The main event will be good this week. The main event is Hardy/Orton though. That's right, I forgot about the whole two Intercontinental/WWE Champions thing... but really, no matter who Flair is against, shouldn't his potentially last match not be on the undercard?

No. The main event will be good this week.

who doesnt like midgets???? I do... kinda... but not when they don't show up after Khali's music hits...
-
Is it okay to like this if you're kinda drunk?
-
Damn, that's a good question. USA has an HD channel, but MY cable company doesn't provide it yet. I might not even get to check out the goodness next week. It will still be less gross for you than for the others who get to experience the... "goodness"

HHH is totally fucking up all of the sets... much like all other kinds of shit that he fucks up... I can't wait 'til he spits some fukkkkin' water again and shit....
-
Well, it looks as though the rumors of that new set for the HD world is true, what with the killing of Mini Tron and all.

Breakfast: a weak-ass granola bar, as I substituted a wholesome morning meal with a trip to the post office Lunch: Linguini with portabello mushrooms and diced tomatoes, garlic bread, water Dinner: Spinach fettuccine with clams and anchovies, red wine latter-night snack: Oaken Barrel Brewing Co. Gnaw Bone Ale

Quote of the Night: "Can High-definition TV's take Snitsky?" - Jerry Lawler Only funny as it was the very first thought that occurred to me when I heard that RAW was making the jump to HD.

Yeah. That was pretty depressing. I remember thinking that, for some reason, Thunder would solidify WCW as the top dog in the wrestling industry. Really, it helped to water down their product and encourage wrestling fans to look elsewhere for something fresh. -
No, but you can tap into it. Just because it doesn't show, doesn't mean that it isn't there. See: The Ringmaster

Impact spoilers for 1/10
PILLS! PILLS! PILLS! replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in TNA Wrestling
Do you have any examples? For the life of me, I can't remember him doing this. Maybe with Kane? And I'm really starting to think Senshi quitting TNA is a work. Dixie Carter offered any wrestler who wanted out of their contract that option. While Senshi is not under contract, he is still performing on a per-appearance basis. -
If memory serves, the first issue of WWF Magazine from 1993 listed Max Moon vs. Terry Taylor as part of the Royal Rumble undercard.
