My cousin and I lined up near the guardrail, holding the foam 2x4 that I purchased during intermission, and waited for ol' Hacksaw to come out to the ring and beat up Razor Ramon. Then, to my horror, the ring announcer delivered the news that Duggan had missed his flight from Chicago and the match would not take place. That's how the show ended. WWF wouldn't return to the Assembly Hall until five years later.
