Is that really a good reason to like somebody?

Best Live Show that you've attended

Boy, the finale of that show was once my all-time favorite moment in wrestling (which has since been soured), and I was at a Hooters in Central Illinois when it went down. Being there would have been pretty awesome. Good for you. I hope you die. No shit? Where were you? I might have thrown a chair over your head.

I'm Calling Who Be Winning Da Worst Poster Of Da Year Dis Year

The entire "This is Why We Can't Have Nice Things pt. 2" blog post is why gary floyd shouldn't be anywhere near the Worst Poster Tournament this year. And probably any year.

    The Old School questions thread

Because Vince Russo didn't care about continuity? They did acknowledge that Scorp and Funk were former partners, even with them shaking hands or bumping fists or something at the Fully Loaded show, with the announcers pointing it out as well. I can't remember if there was an explanation or an angle to explain why they branched off into different tandems. Maybe they needed to stay with their kind.

Best Live Show that you've attended

ROH Better Than Our Best in Chicago. Lance Storm vs. Bryan Danielson, Colt Cabana vs. Homicide in a Chicago Street Fight, tons of Dragon Gate guys and a bunch of the biggest indie players at the time (Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels, AJ Styles, etc.) made this a great show from top to bottom.

    TSM Profile: Bam Bam Bigelow

He was the first casualty in that shitty year of 2007. I remember hearing the news at a close friend's birthday party at our usual watering hole. Some bummer shit. I will also get to the questions later, but I did want to comment on how much I loved the Douglas/Candido/Bigelow incarnation of the Triple Threat. While the original one was really good, I totally dug the eclectic grouping of "The Franchise," "No Gimmicks Needed" and "The Beast From the East." The New Jersey Triad was also the shit. One of the few bright spots of WCW during their nosedive period.

Rotunda doesn't look a damn thing like his father. Barry Darsow's kid, on the other hand, is a spitting image. Fore!

I'm pretty certain they had signs all over the outside area of arena telling people to go home. I think the decision was made way before the normal time to open the doors. Also, going off of memory, I do believe that they came back the next month, so it probably notified them that they could get a refund or roll their tickets over as well.

Once Great Cable Channels That Have Gone Downhill

Aside from Rap City, what on earth did BET ever have going for itself? And don't say Comicview or I'll kick you in the nuts. They used to have the late night music videos that was nothing but chicks shaking their asses which they couldn't show the rest of the day. Yeah, I used to jerk off to Uncut. Like, sweaty, two-hour unsatisfying cable television wank sessions. You all know what I'm talking about. The quantity of ass was always concurrent with how awful the featured artists were.

    ECW - Feb 3, 2009

Lesnar truly had "it." He came across like a real main eventer, and fans bought it. Tons of hosses came and went, but he was one of the few (along with Sid and a few others) who was perceived as something special. Lashley always came across as a guy who was blatantly pushed beyond his means. Nothing about him ever screamed "top of the card" to me.

    Most Unique Wrestling Entrances

Whoever said Cena's entrance from Mania 24 is correct. Loved the marching band entrance. Reminded me a lot of the awesome Piper/Orndorff entrance at the inaugural WrestleMania.

    The Office Season 5

Haha, Kelly was in juvy when she was a teen. The look on Andy's face after Creed referred to him as "Jim" was pretty funny. I am so looking forward to part two, now that we are going to get more Michael-Holly.

I don't think that they were ever scheduled to play the event. Linda McMahon probably meant to say that they were providing the theme song, not performing it. Fine by me. Fuck that shitty band.
