This match ranks third in their PPV series, with the Survivor Series match being their best encounter and the King of the Ring match being a close second. I didn't like the cage match as much, as it was obviously no more than a lame duck affair going into it, but it was still okay.

I love the 1993 Rumble mostly for the Bob Backlund story. I really got into it while I was watching live, in spite of my limited Knowledge of him at the time. The match is also packed with a bunch of vets that I really like, with DiBiase, Santana, Martel, Savage, Flair, Hennig, Lawler and others (plus up and comers like Yoko, Taker, Owen, etc) that make the match enjoyable.

The Good Not dead. Have all my limbs. Employed, with two jobs, the entire time. The Bad Spent a full week in Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago (lots and lots of fucked up family shit that came out of this that I'm still feeling) As a result of my stay in the hospital, I cut my work hours down. Which led to even less hours when the small business that I work for started losing money fast. All my good friends are hours away, and I'm not really that crazy for the people here. Did not reenroll in school after establishing residency in the state of Indiana I didn't accomplish shit from a creative standpoint. Had no motivation. This might be the worst year of my adult life. Not necessarily in terms of horrible things happening to me, but in that I am not better off than I was one year ago. I've never been able to say that at any point until now. 2008 was a whole bunch of nothing, topped with cynicism and indifference. I guess that 2009 will be a step up. If it isn't, then just kill me now.

Was she, though? I was made to believe that once the masses started making a big deal out of her picture she canceled her Flickr account and made an attempt to keep her images private. Or maybe she wasn't so quick to jump out of the spotlight. I really could care less either way.

It sounds funny (or doesn't), but I am always down to listen to the select reggae tracks that Bad Brains gave us. Other than that, though... gimme a fair share of marijuana and I'm probably fine with whatever you put on at the time... Any other time, nah. Not really interested.

I remember watching footage of the World Tag Team Championship tournament in the fall of 1991 where they were running some arena that looked like it was supposed to hold a few thousand minimum, and there were, maybe, four or five hundred people piled around the ringside area with a sea of empty red chairs behind them. I'm surprised that they aired such embarrassing footage.

I wasn't paying attention to the location that year, but in hindsight, it was very obvious. It was also obvious that Angle was going to lose the WWF Championship before the big show as well, long before I knew that The Rock was going to challenge him at No Way Out. Truthiness, you the pic in your sig isn't showing up.

I can honestly say that I knew these guys were going to win going into their respective Rumble match: HBK in 1995 (it was clear that they going for Diesel-Shawn) HBK in 1996 (you all knew that he was being groomed for the championship) Austin in 1998 (see Shawn in 1996) HHH in 2002 (all signs pointed to Helmsley) Lesnar in 2003 (this one was very obvious) Batista in 2005 (this one was even more obvious) Especially the last three that I listed. I was really hyped about Rey going over in 2006, as I thought it was a possibility, but I was almost certain that I would be let down. I was wrong.

To be fair, it's a bloody awful genre.
