I'm gonna be the "I Like Turtles" kid in my avatar. Actually, I already was at work last weekend.

I did like Jim's brother looking into camera and giving the... this:

88 also has The Rockers and Hart Foundation as faces (a rare Shawn and Bret team-up!). I recall Shawn taking an awesome looking spinebuster from Arn Anderson. It also has a crippled Dynamite Kid which isn't all that fun. It did set up the Demolition / Powers of Pain double turn though, so I give it the slight nod. Both are good though. If only Shawn/Bret were feuding now. They would be teaming up every other week and going over the current Tag Team Champions. It is also worth mentioning that the Rougeaus were eliminated early to get them away from the Bulldogs and out of the building in order to avoid any further altercations between Jacques and Dynamite.

WWE General Discussion - October 2008

I was that way when I first hung out with New Jack. I honestly didn't know what to expect but not pissing him off or upsetting him was probably the best thing I could do around him. Turns out he was really fun to hang out with and a good story teller. Just make sure that you don't owe him money, I guess. -

This is awesome: WWE Top 25 Scariest Supestars Any WWE-sponsored list that includes Nailz, Muta, Zeus, Vampiro and Abdullah is worth mentioning. And New Jack. Because he legitimately scares me. -
I can remember conversing with fellow eleven year old wrestling marks about how amazing the Angels were. Great, great stuff.

If the people in CA can keep theirs up because its Hallowen and free speech, why can't they keep the one up of Obama in KY for the same reason? Neither should be held up, but the Palin effigy is on private property, which is why no action has been taken yet. The Obama effigy was on campus property, so I don't need to explain to you why it was removed immediately... or do I?
-
Yes, it is Sydal. And if you haven't been watching, then you missed out on him getting a good, dignified push. I never would have expected it, but the E definitely sees something in him. I hope that they don't forget what they had going when he comes back.

Funny, your post made it seem as though the effigy at UK was equally acceptable.
-
Like I said, you would have to be a complete moron...

Both are in poor taste, but you would have to be a complete moron to understand why, from a historical standpoint, the Obama effigy is wrong on more than one level.

How on earth is Manu ranked no. 9 overall on RAW? -
This goes great to the tune of "Ghostbusters."

It's a makeup selection.

Character Moments That Now Make You Cringe or Shudder

Crash Holly was in that one. EDIT: Alf beat me to it. -
I was just about to post this. Though I am content to never see another political ad for the rest of my life, this was very amusing. Sometimes less is more.

Character Moments That Now Make You Cringe or Shudder

Not character related, but every match from the first two Survivor Series PPV's has somebody who is deceased. And only one of the five matches from the 3rd annual Survivor Series is comprised completely of performers who are still alive. Also, you can only watch one Royal Rumble without seeing a participant who is deceased- this year's Rumble. -
Let's Talk About... The Apter Mags
PILLS! PILLS! PILLS! replied to Cheech Tremendous's topic in General Wrestling
I used to have hundreds of Apter Mags. I think that I still have most of my collection (spanning primarily from 1985 through 1997) boxed away at my parents' house. My favorite was called "Wrestling Rulebreaker," where the entire magazine was presented with a heel bias. Don't know how many issues were released, but I have the inaugural one with the Narcissist on the front cover. Interestingly enough, I was at a flea market this past weekend and I found a stand where wrestling magazines were going for a dollar each. I got my hands on an issue of WOW Magazine from late 1999. And a few RAW magazines from97/98 as well. -
Yeah, I've had him since the beginning and planned on keeping him until the end.

I read on PWI that Taylor Rotunda (who is Mike Rotunda's son and Blackjack Mulligan's grandson) is now training at FCW. If ever there was a natural stablemate for Ted DiBiase, Jr. it would be him. -
