I'll never forget the promo that Diesel cut the night after he lost the WWF Championship. He all but overtly acknowledged Vince McMahon as the owner of the company, compelled the crowd to react to him whichever way they please and said that he wasn't going to be the same guy in the locker room, with respect to a few of his friends (read: The Clique). That, to me, was the birth of the modern tweener.

I prefer Nighthawks at the Diner for the atmosphere, but Swordfishtrombones and the subsequent Frank's Wild Years are also favorites of mine.

I will mention that I knew of Scott Keith long before I was an actual member. I got Wrestling's One Ring Circus a while back and thought (or still think) it was rather mediocre.

PWI is reporting that Mike Knox beat Jamie Noble in the dark match tonight. I expect this match to occur on RAW next week.

My profile was dormant for a while when I found out that I had this place wrong, but, yes, I stick around primarily for the wrestling discussion. 7. When was the board at its best? Still disagree with the Batista thing. He was complaining that he wasn't happy with his spot, in spite of the fact that he was very well protected and well-promoted. He wanted more and threatened to take time off if he didn't get it. It's just bullshit that they would hand the belt over to him after that. What right does he have to complain? As far as the SD! side of things goes... I was pulling very hard for Jeff up until a certain point. So much that I wanted him to win the WWE Championship in the closing match of WrestleMania this year. Seriously. I wanted it to happen that much. But after he failed yet another wellness test this past March I completely gave up. I mean, if it actually happened, I might pop, but one would have to be foolish if they are not waiting for the other shoe to drop. It's now become a case of fool me twice...
