    SNL 9/27

He has Fred Armisen doing this awful impression of Obama. I'm sure there's a black guy out there somewhere who can portray him You're not telling my anything I don't already know about Armisen's lackluster impersonation. It was the "refusal" to hire a black guy line that confused me. Even though it would only be a short-term solution, I would love for Dwayne Johnson to host some time in the near future.

Perfect timing to put the belt on a guy

And wasn't he going to lose it to David Von Erich if he didn't die? Yes, he was.

I thought that she was taken already, but I couldn't find her anywhere. I'll take... Uma Thurman

    Boardloaf

God damn it. I just sneezed a mouth full of chewed up broccoli. It went everywhere. And it didn't look as pretty as it did on the way into my mouth either.

    So, what's your job?

Job #1 Local photo studio. I do it all- Senior pictures (my personal favorite), commercial photography, passports, sports teams, family portraits, everything. When I'm not doing that, I am producing packages and the like. I also do photo restoration with Photoshop. The only thing that I have yet to do is aerial photography. Job #2 Library clerk. The easiest shit ever, since nobody in my town knows how to read, thus- no serious foot traffic. I sit behind a counter and do whatever I want. Adult services can be busy every once in a while, but when I work in Children's Services, things get really, really slow. I catch up on my reading during those shifts.

    Pictures I Like

Browsing through Found Magazine's website I came across this gem: I'm assuming that this was from the match he had with RVD approximately two years ago, damn near to the day. EDIT: Yeah, that match was in Tulsa, OK on 09/26/06, so, yeah, I stumbled upon this a small handful of hours after the two-year mark.

I'm glad that I wasn't the only one who was horrified by this. We really shouldn't be asking the average American shit.

    BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!!!!

I'm way too late on this, but I don't give a flying fuck. That's my personal favorite Prince song. I really don't think that it is his best. But I like it more than anything else he recorded.

Stars from the 90's the faded too soon

That fuckin' guy. There has never been a single minute of my tenure as a wrestling fan where I wasn't behind this guy. I always wanted him to be right up there in the main event with HBK. But he absolutely has nobody else to blame for his professional failures but himself. Well, he trashed him (unfairly in my opinion) up until the point where he went heel in 1997, where he said that Mero had really come into his own as one of the best heel personalities.

Gregory Helms has been in Pop-Up Video mode recently... they should have given that gimmick to Colt Cabana.

WWE General Discussion - September 2008

I'm bout it, so long as they deliver a Misterio vs. Sydal series soon enough. Man, the Cruiserweight Championship would be perfect for Even Bourne, and vice versa. Shame it's not around any more.

    The Office Season 5

Seeing Temp crawling back was just terrific. For a short moment it seemed as though his second attempt to butter up Kelly might have worked. One quick thing. Was Michael clean-shaven during the lounge scene just before Jim talks about missing lunch with Pam? If so, it would seem slightly off-key, as Temp wasn't clean-shaven yet. And Michael was sporting the goatee for the rest of the week after that scene, I think...

    The Office Season 5

I get out of work at 9 every Thursday night, and, subsequently, miss the first ten minutes or so of each show. Do they usually post the episodes on NBC.com (or anywhere else) the same night that they air?

Anybody watching the new Knight Rider series? I caught the last five minutes tonight and what I saw was terrible.

Let's Talk About...The Decline of The WWF Tag Team Division

While the workrate wasn't really comparable to the TLC Era, the Tag Team Championship was featured prominently in 1996 while Sunny was coming up. You had the Godwinns, the Gunns and the Body Donnas, and the wildcard team was the New Rockers, who I really liked. I really wanted Leif and Marty to have a run, but their gimmick turned out to be short lived (read: Jannetty's run was, once again, short-lived). Personally, I loved Davey Boy and Owen as champions, even if they weren't a legitimate tag team. Their matches with Furnas/LaFon were very good, especially the "Royal Rumble RAW" match for the Tag Team Championship.

Your favorite Royal Rumble to Wrestlemania booking?

The fact that it was a mirror image shot was even better. Just another WWF/E fallacy. It sounds odd for them to say that the loser of the coin toss has the advantage. Much like how they say that drawing #1 in the Royal Rumble is worse than any other number. Wouldn't #2 be worse? I mean, if you're the first guy in the ring at least you can take a few seconds to breathe and then jump the second guy the moment he tries to step through the ropes.

Your favorite Royal Rumble to Wrestlemania booking?

I liked 1995. Classic WWF with the heel making a good case for himself as Diesel was granted his WWF Championship shot, while Michaels had to earn it by literally outlasting thirty other men in the Royal Rumble (I know the match was short and not that impressive, but that's another story for another time). Introducing Sid as his new bodyguard, which would turn out to be the fatal flaw, was an interesting twist. 1996 was also good. The focus on athletic training and scoping each other's matches out were very basic but effective. Bret may complain about the video packages, but I still liked them. 2001 was really good, as they kept both men very busy going into No Way Out. Didn't care much for Debra as The Rock's manager, but, yeah, I would have to say that the "My Way" song did add a lot to the build. When you go back and look there is a good amount of foreshadowing where Austin's turn is concerned. Even up to the last minute before the match started. The Batista-HHH build in 2005 was great, even going back earlier than the Royal Rumble.

    Actors/Actress Draft!

Time for me to make my fourth director selection: Robert Altman I especially like his work with large ensemble casts. I shall have him direct a project featuring everybody that I acquire.
