I went to a show where Of Montreal was headlining a couple of years ago to see Owen, but Mike had injured his hand and had to cancel. I'm a big fan of he and his brother, Tim. Between the two of them, they have been in dozens of worthwhile groups.

You know, with all of the hype surrounding The Dark Knight this summer, would this not have been a good time to revive the old sociopath Doink the Clown with an updated, darker look, a la The Joker? There's gotta be at least one guy on the indie scene who would be perfect for the role. Ace Steel, who already looks crazy without makeup? Jimmy Jacobs who really is crazy?
