ABSOLUTE INTENSE WRESTLING WITH TWO SHOWS TO END 2008! AIW coming off the success of it's last event "Hell On Earth 4: Black Friday" will end 2008 with two shows in two different locations in one week. Tickets for Nightmare Before X-Mas 2 can be bought at AIWrestling.com! On Monday, December 15th, we will crown a new Intense Champ, since Johnny Gargano vacated it due to injury. The show will take place at Put In Bay Lakewood. WHERE WILL JOHNNY GARGANO'S LOYALITY LIE???? After having his Intense title stripped at "Hell On Earth 4" due to his back injury, Gargano was confronted by Jimmy Demarco and Shiima Xion. Jimmy and Shiima rubbed salt into Gargano's wounds as they talked about how Gargano left AIW a few years ago and how Gargano is afraid of them. Jimmy even went as far as pie facing Gargano, who was held back from his revenge. Gargano, who's still not cleared to wrestle, has promised he's backing somebody in the tournament. Who will this person be? Obviously, it won't be Shiima or Jimmy, but the opportunities are there. While he doesn't see eye to eye with Josh Prohibition, he has a past with him. And Josh once saved him from an attack last December. Facade and Gargano are peers and have teamed in the past. Will Gargano take a liking to Flip or Lyndon? Or will Gargano finally decide to be Marion Fontaine's new friend? We will find out who the former champ backs live at Put In Bay! The Tourney's first round is as follows: BRACKET ONE: -JIMMY DEMARCO VS. FLIP KENDRICK The man, the myth, the Demarco returns to AIW once again, even though he apparently hates it. The man who claims he's never been respected by AIW, feels slighted again because he has to wrestle in a tourney for the title he was scheduled to wrestle for last month. While Jimmy brings his hatred, Flip Kendrick is a total opposite. Flip, who's happy to be back in AIW, wants to prove how far he's come over the years and would love to cap off his return with winning The Intense Title. Will Jimmy's new hardcore streak lead to a victory? Or will Flip use his highflying to overcome the devious Demarco? -MARION FONTAINE VS. LOUIS LYNDON -The "Friendless" Fontaine has been looking past his career somewhat lately, more concerned with finding his friends. With Cronus and Tolar not working out, will Fontaine finally be on the right track again? Or will the returning Louis Lyndon keep his hot streak alive by beating Fontaine and moving onto the Intense Belt? These men are no strangers to each other and will likely lead to an exciting match. But will the winner be facing Flip or Demarco? Will Lyndon face his brother? Or The strange Demarco? Will Fontaine be facing Flip? Or will Fontaine face Demarco who he tied up with at "Die Another Day"? BRACKET TWO: -JOSH PROHIBITION VS. ?????? Josh Prohibition opted to sit Hell On Earth 4 with his cohort Sterling James Keenan, but Absolute Owner Chandler Biggins has put Josh into the tournament since he has demanded "competition". He will not know who he's facing though, just that it is a "man from his past". Who could this mystery man be? Josh has had a storied career in pro wrestling, and made a lot of enemies on the way, so it could be numerous people. The person will be revealed when Josh is in the ring already, so will he be prepared? -SHIIMA XION VS. FACADE The two men who faced each other in a qualifier at "Hell On Earth 4", will face once again in the first round of the tourney. That match ended in a double pin, this match, there must be a winner! Shiima's name speaks for it's self. He's been to Japan, Mexico and all of the places in between, and Facade in a way looked up to him. Recently, Facade has realized that Jimmy and Shiima aren't what's right with wrestling. Facade is looking to make a name for himself off of Shiima, proving that being respectful and working hard will get you further than being whiny and expecting things handed to you. Will Facade over come the mat veteran? Or will Shiima along with his apparent friend Jimmy Demarco pull out some kind of trick and get a victory? BONUS MATCH: TAG TEAM QUALIFIER: FAITH IN NOTHING VS. THE HOMELESS HANDICAP CONNECTION VS. ALPHA BETA DUKE VS. DA LATIN CRIME SYNDICATE Cleveland's most dominant team Faith In Nothing lost in one of the biggest upsets in AIW at Hell On Earth 4 when The Young Studs beat them in a casket match to retain the AIW Tag Titles. Faith In Nothing wanted a rematch, but The Young Studs claim they had their shot and they are back on the level of AIW's other teams. Meanwhile, The Homeless Handicap Connection and Alpha Beta Duke have been having issues with Da Latin Crime Syndicate over the last year. But all four teams have one thing in common, they want a shot at the AIW Tag Titles. Will Faith In Nothing once again prove their tag dominance? Or will one of the other teams break from the pack and pull out a victory? -JACK VERVILLE WANTS TO KNOW WHERE THE WOMEN ARE AT? After losing his qualifying match at Hell On Earth 4, newcomer Jack Verville doesn't have a match scheduled at this show, but he claimed he's coming regardless. When asked his intentions, he claimed he's coming to find hot chicks and he's going to show why while he might now be in the tourney, he will win the match that counts the most to him, meeting hot chicks. At This show, we will once again have $10 All You Can Drink Beer Passes! -NO ROPES BARBED WIRE: HAILEY HATRED VS. "THE PASSION" JOHN THORNE No words can describe this match. John Thorne who retired after Absolution 3, ran in during Rebis VS. Hailey Hatred at Hell On Earth 4 and brutally caned her. Why? Because he retired over a girl. Because of that, he along with Rebis want to retire every woman in wrestling. And there's only one woman who's proved herself in AIW, Hailey Hatred. Thorne challenged her to a No Ropes Barbed Wire. Shockingly she's accepted. Hailey who makes her living working in Japan and Mexico doesn't need to risk herself doing this match. But worse than hurting her with a Singapore cane, he attacked her pride. With some of the amazingly brutal Barbed Wire matches of the past, this match looks to be brutality at it's finest. Neither will likely be the same again. -CAREER VS. TITLE: STERLING JAMES KEENAN DEFENDS AGAINST THE DUKE Absolute Champ SJK who sat out recent shows because of "not feeling challenged" only accepted a rematch from The Duke when he put his career on the line. Duke who almost pulled a victory out at "Die Another Day" on SJK, is willing to bet his entire career on it. That match ended when Josh Prohibition helped SJK get the win. Will Duke finally have SJK's number? Or will the Absolute Champ once again pull out a victory, with or without the help of Josh Prohibition? -NO DQ/NO TIME LIMIT: DRAKE YOUNGER VS. VINCENT NOTHING One of the most talked about matches at Die Another Day was the unbelieveable strong style match between Drake Younger and Vincent Nothing with the CZW Heavyweight Title on the line. The match ended in a double KO. Neither man could take a restart, and the fans were left wanting more. And Drake Younger was happy to give it to them. Drake issued the challenge at the end of Hell On Earth 4. No DQ, No Time Limit. This time, it's to find out who the better man is. No titles are on the line, it's just two guys fighting to find out just what the other one has. Who will come out on top? -BEER BOTTLE ON A POLE: FACADE VS. JIMMY DEMARCO One of the most shockingly violent feuds in AIW history, Demarco VS. Facade has taken on a new dimension. Jimmy Demarco at Prelude To Hell tried to stab Facade with a broken beer bottle, blocking the shot, Facade hit him with another bottle. A bloody Jimmy Demarco was then pinned. If these men will go to these lengths, imagine what they will do with a beer bottle an arm length away. The bottle will be hung on one of the corners, and whoever gets it can use it. Like a few matches on this show, the match could be for the Intense Title if one of the two men go on in the tourney to win it. Will the blood feud keep going on? Or will this finally be the end of this violent saga? -GRUDGE MATCH: CHRISTAIN FAITH VS. ERIC RYAN Faith In Nothing feels that they were cheated at Hell On Earth 4, in their match against The Young Studs. Since Vincent Nothing already has his hands full with Drake Younger, Christian Faith has asked for a singles match with Young Stud Eric Ryan. With the AIW Tag Titles not on the line in this singles match, Faith is looking for pure revenge and he wants to beat the hell out of Eric Ryan for standing between FIN and their destiny as AIW Tag Champs. Will Eric Ryan steal another win? Or will Faith dominate like many expect? -JOSH PROHIBITION VS. MARION FONTAINE In another match that might be for The Intense Title, Fontaine still hasn't found a friend, and won't likely find one in Josh Prohibition. Josh is looking to win The Intense Title to add to SJK's Absolute Title, and Fontaine hopes the belt will help him find a friend. If this match isn't for the title, it will be a great judge for AIW Management for the Intense Division rankings. Who will come out on top? -JASON GORY VS. SHIIMA XION Two men that know each other, oh so well, Gory and Shiima have been best friends and sometimes bitter rivals. Jason Gory returned to AIW after almost two years at Hell On Earth 4 and was beat by Jimmy Demarco in a Tourney Qualifier with the help of Shiima. Even though these men have wrestled dozens of times, with a split record, Gory claims this time it's personal. Gory wanted to come back with a bang and place in the tournament and Shiima killed those hopes and dreams. Gory wants revenge against not only Shiima, but Jimmy Demarco, but has to take things one step at a time. Will Gory get his revenge? Or will Jimmy Demarco and Shiima Xion keep their reign of terror alive in Absolute Intense Wrestling? -HOMELESS HANDICAP CONNECTION VS. FLIP KENDRICK/LOUIS LYNDON Two of the most popular tag teams in AIW will face each other. Flip/Lyndon are known for their highflying ability and The Connection are known for their, well, unique traits and never say die attitudes. Matching these teams up, Flip/Lyndon scored a huge win over The Best Around at Hell On Earth 4, and while The Homeless Handicap Connection's win record is pretty empty, the crowd seems to love them. Will this be an easy win for Flip/Lyndon on their way to AIW Tag Team Titles? Or will the Homeless Handicap Connection pull off an upset? -GRUDGE MATCH: DA LATIN CRIME SYNDICATE VS. ALPHA BETA DUKE Two teams that couldn't be more opposite, Alpha Beta Duke want to drink and have a good time and Da Latin Crime Syndicate want to beat people up. They butted heads at Hell On Earth 4 when Nick Belushi saved The Homeless Handicap Connection from another Latin beat down. Nick was taken out quickly by Luis Diamante with the ring bell. This time, Nick has called backup in the form of his tag partner "KegStand" Carlton Kaz. Will Alpha Beta Duke get their sweet revenge on the Latins? Or will Da Latin Crime Syndicate take out two members of ABD instead of just one? -MATT RIOT GIVEN A CHANCE TO SPEAK! After his controversial public firing of Sami Callihan at the last show, where he called him "Scami", Absolute Owner Chandler Biggins didn't know what to do with Sami's tag partner in the Switchblade Saints, Matt Riot. Matt doesn't have a match announced, but Chandler has said he will allow Matt 5 minutes to get anything hr wants off his chest. What is Matt's future in AIW? Will he go on without his partner? Will AIW keep Matt on their roster? The answers might become clearer after Nightmare! -JACK VERVILLE APPEARS AGAIN???? Not only is Jack announced for The Put In Bay show, he has also informed AIW, he will be at Nightmare to once again find a lady friend. While Marion Fontaine is on a quest to find a best friend, Jack seems to like his friends in the female variety. Will he have any luck finding some hot girls at Nightmare Before X-Mas 2? Faith In Nothing (Christian Faith & Vincent Nothing) & Mad Man Pondo VS. Revelation 13's "The Passion" John Thorne, Matthew Justice and Drake Younger For years, Vincent Nothing, Christian Faith and "The Passion" John Thorne ran wild on AIW causing mayhem and chaos everywhere they went. For various reasons, Faith and Nothing left AIW leaving Thorne alone and creating a tag team called "Faith In Nothing". During this time, Thorne and Matthew Justice became a force to be reckoned with, holding the AIW Tag Titles and doing such acts as lighting a casket on fire with people inside. During the October 2007 event "Hell On Earth 3" during a hardcore 3-Way Dance with The Necro Butcher, Drake Younger and Thorne, Drake attacked Necro and joined Revelation 13. Necro enlisted his best friend, Mad Man Pondo in this war and Thorne actually pinned the hardcore legend at February's Gauntlet For The Gold 3. Justice and Thorne attacked after the match, leading to Vincent Nothing making his surprise return. During a tag match between Revelation 13 and Nothing/Thrillbilly at March's "Destroy Everything!", Thorne and Justice attacked both with chairs and stun guns. So these series of events lead to Vincent Nothing calling his ally, and reforming Faith In Nothing in Cleveland and with Mad Man Pondo on their side going to war with the current version of Revelation 13 in Drake Younger, Matthew Justice and "The Passion" John Thorne. You fans have been enlisted to bring, build and create weapons for these men to hit each other with. One can only imagine that a ring will not hold these men, so this match will be contested under falls count anywhere rules. Who will survive? FINAL BATTLE FOR THE ABSOLUTE TITLE AIW Absolute Champ Sterling James Keenan will battle Dios Salvador for the final time. If SJK wins, Dios will never get a title shot as long as SJK is champ. If Dios wins, he will become Absolute Champ and SJK will not get a return match. Sterling James Keenan and Dios Salvador have battled each other three times in singles action, and this will be the forth. They hold two pin fall victories over each other. This ladies and gentlemen is the rubber match and win, lose or draw will be the final time they wrestle each other in one on one action. Sterling James Keenan is the current Absolute Champion, and that's where things get interesting. If SJK wins, Dios will never get another Absolute Title shot until SJK is no longer champ. If Dios Salvador takes the Absolute Title, SJK will not get a return match until Dios is no longer champ. Another note is their last match ended when Josh Prohibition ran-in and cost Dios the victory. Dios at one time was Josh's top student, but somewhere along the line, they had a falling out. The reasons are unknown but their battles have been ultra-personal. Josh Prohibition has been BANNED from the building on May 25th, and if he physically appears, will be fired on the spot by AIW. However, Josh has asked to speak a few words live via video in front of the crowd before this match and that wish has been granted. Who will leave Absolution 3 as Absolute Champ? STEEL CAGE MATCH FOR THE AIW TAG TITLES! If Alpha Beta Duke win, Nick/Oprah become the AIW Tag Champs, If Alpha Beta Duke loses, they will disband! AIW Tag Champs: The Switchblade Saints (Matt Riot & Sami Callihan) with partner Jason Bane VS. Alpha Beta Duke (Nick Belushi, Super Oprah and THE DUKE) Since December of 2007, The Switchblade Saints have done battle with Alpha Beta Duke, in particular singling out Nick Belushi. While, The Switchblades are undefeated as a tag team in AIW, they could never get the AIW Tag Titles or one up Alpha Beta Duke. That was until "Destroy Everything!" when Jason Bane jumped the guardrail and brutalized Super Oprah, leading to Alpha Beta Duke losing their tag straps. The Switchblade Saints brought Jason Bane in as their "hired gun" and it apparently worked. During the fallout of the match, Absolute Owner Chandler Biggins came out and announced that the Switchblades and Bane would have to meet all three members of Alpha Beta Duke inside of a steel cage at Absolution 3, including The Duke! The rules are simple, two men will enter and every 2 minutes, another man will enter. The Switchblades have the advantage due to being champs. When all 6 men are in the ring, the match can end by pin fall or submission. If Alpha Beta Duke wins, Nick/Oprah will regain the AIW Tag Team Titles. If The Switchblade Saints win, Alpha Beta Duke will have to disband forever! 30 MINUTE IRON MAN MATCH FOR INTENSE TITLE! Intense Champ Tyler Black VS. Johnny Gargano Johnny Gargano debuted in AIW during Gauntlet For The Gold 2005, while not making a big splash it paved the way for him to be a mainstay in the Intense Division. Johnny was there when the division was formed during a scramble match in March of 2006. But then after Absolution 1, Johnny due to the politics of wrestling left AIW. Since then, people have always wondered what would have happened had Johnny stayed with AIW. But during this time, Tyler Black came to AIW in December 2006 with a long resume, but had never been seen in the local area. Since then he's competed in Wrestling Society X shown on MTV and Ring Of Honor. Tyler is considered by some the fastest rising independent wrestling star in the world right now. Part of his success is practically holding the Intense Division hostage by keeping the Title for close to a year. During this time, weird messages started appearing on Internet message board and myspace. This viral campaign was part of Johnny Gargano's grand comeback, leading to his beating both Shane Hollister and Josh Prohibition back to back. Tyler who had set these men up to ruin Johnny's dreams, failed in his task to stop Gargano. The match was set for March. Tyler and Shane Hollister were attacking Shiima Xion when Johnny made the save and requested his Intense title match then and there. Tyler who didn't have to grant the match, said he'd do it but only if they had a 15 minute time limit. Regarded as one of the best Intense Division matches ever, the match ended in a time limit draw. Johnny requested a rematch with 15 minutes longer at Absolution 3 and Tyler shockingly accepted. Will Tyler hold the title longer than any person ever in the history of AIW? Or will Johnny live his dream and win AIW gold? TAG TEAM TLC MATCH FOR TAG TITLE CONTENDERSHIP! The Young Studs (Eric Ryan & TJ Dynamite) VS. The Homeless Handicap Connection (Hobo Joe & Gregory Iron) VS. Da Latin Crime Syndicate (Luis Diamante & K.Fernadez) A feud that has been brewing for months, has been brought to the boiling point. The Homeless Handicap Connection have never been able to beat The Young Studs in the multiple times they have met. And when Da Latin Crime Syndicate got added last month to the feud, The Young Studs were able to pin K.Fernadez. This time they will meet in a TLC Match for a future AIW Tag Title shot. Will The Homeless Handicap Connection pull off the unthinkable and actually win a match in AIW? Or will The Young Studs pull off yet another victory? Or will Da Latin Crime Syndicate with family members such as "Joey The Snake" at ringside pull off the victory? WOMAN V.S. WOMAN FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER IN AIW! Hailey Hatred will battle Team Sexy's Handpicked Mickie Knuckles There was once a time where Team Sexy were a fun loving team of Rebis & The Potato just wanted to dance and have fun. But suddenly when they saw Hailey Hatred debuting in AIW, saw their spot on the show going to a woman. And with no luck what-so-ever with women, they became very bitter. It escalated when Rebis & The Potato called out Hailey, which ended with Rebis being put thru a table and Potato close to death. The second time they tried, they saw the same results. Team Sexy figures if you can't find a man to beat a woman, find another woman. And they have recruited "The Walking Episode Of Cops" Mickie Knuckles. Mickie who once won the "Queen Of The Deathmatch" Tournament is know for her hard hitting, hardcore, brutal style. These are two ladies that aren't afraid to beat the hell out of each other, and if history has shown us, will. Will Team Sexy being in Mickie's corner help her? Or will Hailey continue her dominance in AIW? MIKE TOLAR'S REVENGE! Mike Tolar & "The Ironman" Rob Conway VS. Marion Fontaine & Chris Cronus Mike Tolar who trained to wrestle in Ohio Valley Wrestling. made his AIW debut against Chris Cronus in February, a even match up became uneven when Marion Fontaine returned to AIW and attacked Tolar with his trusty tennis racquet. Tolar tried to even the odds at "Destroy Everything!" when he enlisted Ricky Landell to be his partner, but again came up short against the former "Sweet Dudes". Tolar claimed he would go into his OVW past and he has, calling his friend, "The Ironman" Rob Conway. Rob Conway, formerly of WWE, has said he's willing to help Mike's cause and will be at Absolution 3 to take on Cronus and Fontaine. THE RETURN OF THE INTENSE DIVISION 6-PACK SCRAMBLE! The Intense Division was once known for it's incredible scrambles and they shall return at Absolution 3. The winner of this match will win a future Intense Title shot.
