Sort of strange that the wwe would not embrace the fact that he possibly did what he did as a result of brain damage because that undermines the idea that steroids were the main reason. I guess you could look at it from the point of view that wwe wasn't watching his health as closely as they should but since the media gets hung up on the steroid issue instead, its the less damaging of the two. It might have been mentioned earlier in the thread but Larry king is supposed to be talking about the benoit story tonight.

There have been a number of professional athletes (mostly football players) that have suffered from this due to repeated blows to the head and undiagnosed concussions, whose cumulative effects destroyed the athletes' brain. Today, an ABC News story today states that was, in fact, a condition from which Benoit suffered. According to Michael Benoit, Chris' father, tests conducted by Julian Bailes of the Sports Legacy Institute show that Benoit's brain was so severely damaged it resembled that of an 85-year-old Alzheimer's patient. Bailes and his research team say that this damage was the result of a lifetime of chronic concussions and head trauma suffered while Benoit was in the wrestling ring. Benoit was famous for his flying headbutt, which put stress on his brain every time he did it. It's now entirely possible that we know why he committed the acts.

Damn fine match and its was really nice to see someone actually be that emotional over winning a title.

This has been such a horrible year for the wwe that this almost is not surprising. Just damn. However, I wouldn't expect him to leave. Considering how tight he is with HHH and the fact keller says they are trying to bring him back, I would expect him to return. I mean its bad enough flair has put himself into the situation of HAVING to wrestle till he's damn near 60 years old when he should have retired with grace years ago but to walk away this close to retiring to go to that shit hole tna would be equally as stupid as his past mistakes. I can't think of a more bone headed thing to do if you care at all about your legacy and wanting to go out at least half way decently. If Mcmahon and the wwe have any brains what so ever they will have have a long program that leads to his retirement match at wrestlemania which would NO doubt be a money program. I would buy wrestlemania for that one moment by itself. Don't make a stupid mistake wwe.

Well considering they say that he is a CURRENT wwe superstar so that would appear to rule out people like Sid or someone that hasn't been around lately. Maybe its the sandman since he comes down through the crowd and you have to look up to see him lol.

I don't know how in the world you can inject race into this considering the information given out. If a white team did this they likely would have been fired as well. If murdoch/cade did this they would have immediately been made to drop the belts and either buried or fired. The dudes apparently threatened murdoch and then did a form of a shoot on the referee where he could have been hurt. Sometimes people look to involve race into situations where it simply does not apply.

I hate teasers like this. Why don't they just come out and fucking say who they have been told it is and see if its true? Why be so mysterious about it? If it's wrong it's wrong and they can just say "well it appears this wasn't the case". Only reason I can think of is to get people to renew their subscriptions and all but that is just annoying. It's possible they haven't even been told who the specific person is, just that there was one. I thought about that since they say "only hinted at us" but I just doubt that. If they have someone on the inside willing to spill the beans on something like this to begin with, it makes little sense for the person giving them the information to not at least "hint" that is Randy orton for example. Like I said, if its wrong its wrong so I don't see why they couldn't say something like "It's been hinted at that Randy Orton will not be suspended because.......but its far from unconfirmed so take it for what its worth" Leaves yourself and your source an out if wrong but at the same time its better than a tease. Then again, the other reports were saying even the creative staff was being kept somewhat in the dark over who was gone and who was available; perhaps their sources are in creative and just haven't gotten the official word yet? (Or even more likely, creative is still going through the "Who do we absolutely need, and what BS excuse can we give to get them off the 30-day suspension list?" motions.) That's true. It's no big deal though, just one of those little pet peeves of mine. this made me laugh because sadly it will probably be true. On the other hand but equally "entertaining" will be that most of the rest of raw will be the Mcmahon bullshit show. Which of course involves him approving scripts that show he has the mind of a fucking teenager where he brags about banging women left and right. I still can't get over the fact we have a 60 something year old and ceo of a major company actually on tv involved with something that a teenager would write for himself if given the chance to put it on tv. Ironic since he brags about those "grapefruits" when in fact his nuts are probably the size of black eye peas after all those years of steroid use. I'm finding this sort of hard to believe but according to someone on dvd board foxnews is reporting Booker T has been fired. That would royally suck dick but take it with a grain of salt.

Cena's a fitness nut, and I would guess, not a steroid user. Anymore. Go find some pictures of him as The Prototype in UPW. That was when he was 'roiding. Honestly, he really isn't roid-ripped. Of course, neither are some of the stars on the list, but I assume they are pain-killer abusers, especially Regal. I think you are being way too over optimistic not thinking Cena is on at least something. He has one of the busiest schedules of anyone in the wwe so its hard to believe he would have all the time to look like that and not have help. There are individuals on that list that aren't roided up looking freaks yet you think cena is just a fitness nut? Of course there is a chance he isn't but all things considered I think you are being a bit naive.

I don't know how much worse this could be for wwe, except maybe Cena being involved. Its going to be funny how wwe tries to explain the mysterious dissappearance of all these wrestlers from tv. Orton can be suspended based on what he did to cena's dad. Umuga..not much better...maybe attack some official. But Other than that, Like morrison who seems to be taking the most, I have no idea. If Mcmahon's name comes up somewhere I will laugh out loud.

I wonder since it is so many guys if they will have to rotate who they suspend instead of just suspending them all at one time. But damn does this make the WWE look like idiots are what? I mean they have had some of these guys on tv claiming today is nothing like yesteryear while at the same time touting their drug policy. pwi says that the title match is a dark match so unless they have changed their minds (or pwi is wrong), you can forget that. As i've said before, They should just rename the fucking title as the "cena heavyweight championship". He has buried everyone in the company now and it appears they are not willing to take it off of him no matter how much and how many people are sick of him being married to the title. I kid you not that I've gotten so sick of seeing cena with the title and/or him being involved in the title picture (not to mention his motherfucking lame promos), that I truly want to change the channel when he comes on. I mean hell, even if by some miracle that he actually loses the title, he is going to be involved in the title picture from here until hell freezes over. So even if orton or who ever wins the damn thing, we are still stuck with him at the top of the card kicking the ass of whoever has the title. As I said in the summerslam thread, he might not have the attitude of a Hulk Hogan but so far as what we see, there is no difference because even IF he loses, he will be booked like fucking superman just like hogan. I almost feel bad about how much I dislike him now because he probably doesn't deserve it due to him not having an attitude and such but the never ending modern day hulk hogan push has just made me absolutely sick of it.

From TMZ: Hulk Hogan's son Nick was seriously injured in a car accident tonight in Clearwater, Fl. Law enforcement tells TMZ the accident occurred around 7:31 p.m. ET tonight. According to police, a Toyota Supra, driven by Nick Bollea (Hogan's real name), was traveling at a very high rate of speed when it lost control and hit a raised median. The car was flipped around and the back end hit a palm tree. The impact, we're told, "destroyed the entire car." The two male occupants were flown by Medivac helicopter from the accident scene to a hospital in St Petersburg. We're told both injuries are "very very serious." The accident happened on Court Street, a main drag in downtown Clearwater, causing the entire street to be shut down for hours. No 911 call was made to police. bullshit. I mean the motherfucker has had the belt for a fucking eternity. Its not just stale, its not just old, its mother fucking ridiculous. What I wouldn't give for the fans to throw trash in the ring on raw when he comes out. No, not because of the person john cena but because of the character and to send a message to mcmahon about the booking. He might not have the attitude of a hulk hogan but the end result is the same....same old shit. God will it ever end.

Despite my strong dislike for his character, he is certainly dedicated for the reasons you mentioned. However, if Mcmahon and the wwe were truly concerned for the well being of their wrestlers as they so claim, they would force him to take some time off even if he didn't want to. There is only so much one person can take, even if that person is the most determined and dedicated individual on the roster. I don't think there is anyone else that even comes close to being consistently active as Cena and its only a matter of time before it catches up to him mentally and physically. Consider how stale he has gotten, it would do not only himself/body some good but his character as well.

Since there are so few women, it would make more sense to have all the women on both shows and just defend the womans title on both shows.
