Was it ever revealed if Punk called for the pin in that match due to getting hurt? I'm sorry to say but they have pretty much buried punk in the eyes of the fans. I mean johny fucking nitro had been booked for months as nothing but a loser, then punk loses to him clean twice. I just don't see how anyone can really take him very serious (as in casual fans) when he can't even beat Nitro/morrison. The wwe never ceases to amaze me...although I think the love for punk has always been overdone in some circles, its clear that they could have made punk into a bigger star than he is but instead of doing the smart thing, they job him to fucking nitro twice....or have him just barely get by someone like stevie richards...one of the few bonified jobbers left in the wwe.

I must be one of the very few that don't mind his headlock spots because he actually tries to make it look like hes doing some damage instead of just sitting there with it like everyone else. I think Orton, for a long while now, has caught a bad rap on the internet in general as far as his wrestling and promo's go. He plays the role of the heel almost perfectly and his in ring work is strong, with an old school type feel to it imho. If he would just keep his attitude and behavior out of the ring in check, he has it made.

Also, I find it incredibly ironic that people looked at Sandman, a guy who holds a weapon in one hand and a beer in the other, and thought the beer was the more offensive of the two. I'm sure if he managed to swing the weapon around at the crowd Stan Hansen like, they might have been offended. But it really isn't good to have some guy spitting beer into a crowd of potential kids. Let him do that stuff in the ring. I'm surprised it went on this long.

HEY! NOTHING YOU CAN SAY! I read somewhere where Orton hates that song and always has. Any, that was pretty cool to see Hardy come out there and wear out umuga with stiff shots from that chair. I'll give credit to cena/orton on one, t cena didn't duck his head or make some odd movement before the rko, looked authentic. (unlike the silly dusty crap where he stared at him for about 5 seconds before the kick) nicely done.

Interesting house show results from pwi. Maybe they are going to turn lashley heel (?) John Cena and Bobby Lashley didn't have a finish in the WWE title match. Orton and Umaga ran down during the match and it ended. Lashley and Cena teamed up to fight them off. Then they did the spot where they were suddenly facing off. Lashley grabbed the title belt and held it for a few minutes before laying Cena out. He left him laying and played total heel. Agents even came out from the back to try and stop the beat down but Lashley kept on going. The PPV should be interesting.

That right there is enough to lead me to be open to believe just about anything, including the possibility that he was so pissed at the industry, that he also loved so much, that he made some final attempts to harm it in some way just as he did his family. Who the fuck knows what went on in his head. Nobody... but Brian Alvarez and Meltzer can sure speculate, can't they! And of course he said in absolute terms it was steroids that caused benoit to do what he did. And he talked to Chyna on the phone and in a bizarre moment...she talks about the toxicology report as if it hasn't been released yet. "its going to show" "it will show" etc. I don't know who is worse, him or Chyna

Exactly.If Benoit really wanted to bring down wrestling, he could have left a note damning wrestling and the wwe to hell and truly exposing it. The fact he didn't do that tells me that all the so called "analysis" by certain parties, doesn't mean a helluva lot.

My sentiments exactly. Hell, I would GLADLY accept another HHH title run over him keeping the belt one more day. And even if he loses the belt, which they should just rename the "Cena heavyweight championship", he has to turn heel before I even come close to being interested in seeing anything he does. With that said, as much as it pains me to say this, I'd rather him have the belt than Lashley.

I fear the day that someone, like Rey for instance, drops dead from a heart attack in the middle of the ring. If wwe is aware of any heart problems and him being tied in with all this steroid mess, they are insane to even think about putting him back in the ring.

It would help if they knew a little about wrestling to begin with. One thing that just kills me is that the WWE/mcmahon will hire people who know absolutely NOTHING about wrestling to write storylines. That is so fucking dumb that it boggles the mind.
