If they build it up right, it will be a big moment when he finally loses the belt. Regardless of how badly everyone thinks he sucks, he is so freaking huge that he comes across as a credible monster. I actually don't have a problem with him having the belt. Though again I think they could have taken the opportunity to give the belt to a mid card guy and maybe make a bigger star. The building up to him losing the belt would be easier of course if they hadn't sacrificed him to Cena "the underdog giant killer". Knowing mcmahon/the wwe they will probably have him lose the built in a week or two, to the boring batista....who really should turn heel if they are going to have him in the title picture again for the foreseeable future. And Mcmahon wonders why the ratings are down.

I do think that the benoit stuff has had an effect on all the shows but Im guessing the reason for smackdown being down also is related to the fact they got raped in the ass with the draft. And now edge is out with injury and will be out 4 months. They really are working with a skeleton crew, as well as ECW. Speaking of ECW, it just plain sucks. They put absolutely no effort into that show and its amazing to me it draws over a half a point...much less 1.3 or 1.4 it usually does. Tna is tna..until they get out of the one building which screams "second rate promotion", and actually slow down the pace of their show, be more concistent with the rules/dusty finishes, and maybe get rid of Tenay and west, they will always be stuck in the mud.

pwi Here are the final numbers for Monday's Raw and there is no way to put a positive spin on them. It did a 3.4 cable rating, with a 5.5 share. The show did hours of 3.3 and 3.5. That is even with last week's number, which a lot of people tried to find potential reasons for being so low (The home run derby on ESPN, John Cena on Larry King). That show started with a 3.0 and went to a 3.7 in the second hour. This week, the first hour was higher but there wasn't much growth in hour two. It is the lowest back-to-back rating that WWE has done since October of 2004. There is definitely reason for concern up in Stamford This pretty much puts to rest the idea that the reason Raw's rating last week was so low was because John Cena wasn't there. So either its because of their product being really stale/uninteresting or its a result of the steroid/benoit stuff. Probably a combo of both but Maybe they should push lashley and/or cena (who has to be wearing really thin on everyone, not just the internet crowd by now) even more...they might even get into the 2's. Might as well set some records.

Shelton benjamin beating HHH ranks right up there too. I'd say cena over HHH at wrestlemania as well, but if it happened today I wouldnt be surprised since he buries everyone in the company he faces. I know there are more if I think about it a while though.

Because it's Michael Moore?......all that movie is about is how screwed up the American health care system is, it isn't really politically motivated. I think most people would agree our health care system is totally screwed up and needs major change. Just about everything micheal moore does is politically motivated. Although at times like this, I think it would be a perfect chance to attempt to make a real star by having someone totally unexpected win the title, I don't have a huge problem with Khali winning it. What I do have a problem with is once again fucking batista is in the world title picture. Why can't they actually attempt to make some new stars instead of constantly going back to the same old people? Especially one that has been either married to the title or in the title picture since he came back from his injury. Man..between Cena or god forbid the Roid King. being champion on raw, and khali or batista being the champion on smackdown for the foreseeable future...things are about as bleak as I have seen them in quite some time.

That's not what the guy at the press conference said. If i recall correctly, a reporter asked if this meant he was on steroids and he said you can not tell from the t/e levels.

There is just way too much emphasis here on steroids and not other things like pain pills, anti depressants or whatever else. Its absolutely absurd the way the media has portrayed steroids as being worse than crack or acid. More than likely benoit had some sort of cocktail of pain pills, nerve pills, etc and combine that with an already unstable personality resulting from some unforeseen psychological issues or even brain damage from all the hits to the head, and you have a rather unstable individual.

Umm yes. Cena has more charisma than half the roster. His problem is the pre-written shit that they give him. I agree. I really don't like Cena but with regard to his promos, its not his fault. There is only so much a person can do when the writers hand you a pile of shit for lines.
