He was pretty awful to say the least. He reminded me of Jim Duggan in a lot of ways, because Duggan was soooo bad at making it so obvious what the other wrestler was about to do. for example, if someone was to hit him with a chair from behind, duggan's body language would telegraph it 5 seconds before it happened. Sid's other plusses though made up for his lack of ring skills for me personally. So i wouldn't mind having him back at all. Sid would be great to have back for his promos..I'm not sure why but he always cracked me up. And least we forget there is always the chance of a "I've got half the brain as you do" type promo again

WWE General Discussion for June 2007
Perfection replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
Yeah that one dude was being beat up by umaga and he pretty much no selled it then umaga seemed to get a bit stiff with him. Just another shining example of stupidity by mcmahon and the wwe to use these clowns. For all the increase in the buys they think they might get from this, it will easily be offset by those who aren't going to waist time buying a ppv because of them. The goal of dealing with these celebs/people out of wrestling should be to increase buy rates, ratings, and please the general wrestling audiance...ie their customers. Do these morons really do that? I mean really, who the hell is going to buy an over expensive ppv just to watch these clowns? I sure as hell won't. The only reason I can think of for me personally to even bother checking dailymotion the next day is to see if they pulled some stupid stunt like laughing or no selling again and hoping that they honestly then got their ass handed to them. -
I agree with foleyfan. she is easily the worst out of all of them. I don't think many would miss her if she was fired tomorrow.

Interesting question. my picks 1. Mr Kennedy. There is something special about Mr. Kennedy to the point where eventually no matter what he did, i think the crowd would love him. Sort of like austin back in the day. 2. The Rock. Good wrestler, incredible charisma, amazingly popular, and just damn funny...but pretty much its obvious why he would be a good choice. 3. HHH. Like him or hate him, his passion for the business and the fact that at this stage of his career he's done enough where the fans generally like or love him, even if the smart marks don't. the DX merchandise flying off the shelves shows that. He's good at being a face or a bonified heel. If given the ball but WITHOUT the connection to the Mcmahons and being shoved down everyones throat for a long time as a result of that in many people's eyes, I think he would be looked at in a much better light by many yet still had gotten over just as much. 4. the Undertaker. No explanation really necessary. 5. Chris Benoit. I think given the chance Benoit could be made into a great heel. He just hasn't been given that chance. Have him just come out and beat the sh*t out of people and be ruthless. As a face, yes the fans love him but not sure if they would pay to see just him. Being a kickass heel...i think that would be differant. Runners up 1. Brock Lesnar Great Big man who could have went a long and very successful in the business if his heart was in it. 2. Christian Just fantastic as a heel. He was always on the cusp of being at the top in the wwe but they refused to pull the trigger. He pretty much sucked as a face in TNA though but on the other hand, just about anything and everything TNA does sucks imo. So if done right, he could even be a good face but I would like to see it in the light of eddie, where he still cheats. 3. MVP. I'm not totally sold on him yet because he has been working with one of, if not the best, wrestler in the business. Great matches but I'd like to see how he does with other lesser talents. However, I've seen his interviews and I *really* am impressed with how serious he takes it. He truly wants to improve and there is no doubt he is full of charisma. Definately has the chance to be something special if done right and given enough time. 4. Shelton Benjiman. Just an amazing athlete who is way underrated and underused by the wwe. If someone would give him a serious gimmick other than being a momma's boy or a whining black man, think of the possibilities.

which is amusing considering the posting of the youtube video where a young edge was squashed by meng -
according to keller As noted in the latest PWTorch Newsletter published this morning, if the Hardys lost the tag titles this week, it's a strong sign that one or both are in for a considerable singles push, as management has been high on them lately.

To sell that the Spike really hurt Khali. It would have made much more sense for say khali to chop umaga or chokeslam him then have cena knock him into the ropes where he gets tied up. Cena then proceeds to finish off umaga. that was the finish i was expecting. For khali to even be able to take the FU he would really have to be out of it, since they have made it extremely clear that its real easy for him to get out of it by just hitting cena in the face while on his shoulders. Instead we have him taking the FU last night after just a rake to the eyes, after being in total control, and then the finish tonight. Just dumb unless they are thinking about getting rid of khali altogethor for a while...
-
I dont understand khali taking the fall here either....it really surprised me. Khali is good enough that he could really be an attraction if booked right but instead, they have totally destroyed his credibility feeding him to cena.

I appoligize for the misinterpretation. I saw that and thought it was directed at me..although i did wonder why it was quoted.
-
I support the support of others in this thread for that outcome. lol at cade going up the ramp.

Again, I ask. How is Carlito the heel here? Who hasn't wanted to back-crack a ex? you are kidding right? i mean you do realize that being critical of sentence structure on a message board is a sure sign you really have nothing intelligant to say, or you are just an ass. i guess you failed to realize though that i just dont capitalize my sentences on a message board, there are periods. i never have and never will just to satisfy dorks on a message board who try to make themselves feel important by pointing out trivial nonsense. You don't capitalize your sentences, even though it makes things easier to read, on purpose? Just to make sure you annoy people on message boards? What a jackass. lmao...if you find it harder to read something because of that then that is just sad. no i dont do it to annoy people because i have never once had any problems with it on any other board. however, its common knowledge that people who resort to pointing out such things just aren't very well received. anywho..enough time waisted on this

i really wish flair would hang it up or at least not wrestle but once every blue moon. im a huge flair mark but it just looks stupid for a man his age, and a legend of his stature to be reduced to not much more than a jobber. i wish that he would be put in a program where he wins the world title and retires the next night as champ. ive seen some object to him winning the title but its no more absurd than him going out every week and getting his ass handed to him by just about everyone. and this way, the man goes out the way he should and it would be incredibly memorable. i think the people would pay to see that..i know i would
-
LOL...that was the exact same thought i had. shocking
-
i think it's just you... no its not just me. someone else was complaining about it too earlier in the thread. its clear one moment then appears sort of choppy like when a storm moves overhead if you have satellite. when it first came on it was really bad.
-
Fook? Oh, come on. What has Funaki ever done to you? lol...im used to having to resort to saying that at other boards so its an old habit. no but raw has just been absolutely stale as hell for a while with mcmahon/lashley, umuga and cena. i wish they would fix this bad feed or whatever the problem is. maybe they have a storm overhead though
-
man the draft can't come soon enough. i wish someone had the balls to tell mcmahon he needs to get the fook off of tv a while because noone gives a damn about him
-
the entire ecw roster will challenge him for the hell of it and he will have the sh*t beat out of him for 45 minutes, only to hit the weakest FU in history to send them all packing. needless to say, the cena act has gotten really really really old in my view. hopefully after the draft, they will be able to put the title on someone else. him holding on to the title this long and constantly "overcoming the odds" has gotten to the point of just being absurd. i mean especially after being squashed by the great khali everytime he faced him yet still holds on to the title. this is becoming borderline hulk hogan like absurdity.

WWE General Discussion for June 2007

its really a damn shame that after having to put up with the ego maniac and sometimes completely clueless vince mcmahon, the company will be ran by someone just as bad, if not worse in stephanie. i know one thing, the wwe must have more ass kissers/yes men than any company in history considering how things are run in that company. It is 100 times better than the way WCW was ran. well it wouldnt take much to be run better than wcw was so im not sure what your point is. -
all this was worth watching just to see finlay and hornswoggle dancing. finlay mocking the boogeyman after he layed him out in the back was hilarious.

yeah it seems like one to me too. one would think they would have spares around just in case of such emergencies.
-
lol...well they made sure to make themselves seem as unguilty as possible. if you noticed that every single time cole or jbl mentioned this, they made sure they emphasized it was henry saying he was the "self proclaimed silverback".
-
mccool continues to impress me, despite her lack of size. her wrestling is very crisp imo. she makes ashley look even more awful, terrible, and worthless
-
well anything is better than the hidious TNA finishes. the 3 main reasons i cant watch tna is because of how truly awful and annoying tenay and west are, how awful the finishes are with the constant interference, and the fact that the wrestling itself comes across as unrealistic/too fast paced. not only is there no psychology/story with most of the matches, its like every match they have is in super fast motion and high impact moves which should normally keep someone down for a little while, they just jump right back up. its a shame tna, which has the really fortunate opportunity to grow and maybe one day compete with the wwe fails to see how their product will never grow past those who already watch it because of how they do things (not to mention the announcing). i wouldnt mind seeing this little kick of his last though. more clean finishes/less BS is always a good thing unless it is truly meaningfull. we all knew the divas being classy thing wouldnt last though. with regard to the michelle/melina thing it was just michelle being annoyed by her rantings of melina not being put on wwe.com. supposedly the non melina parts is how she really feels. nothing earth shattering but nice pic but fwiw. http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/candice/...7?cid=WWEADP-15
